This month's book is from The Luxe Box, steamy paranormal romance novel collection. I was obsessed with the Twilight series back when it first came out so you had me at vampires. From the reviews and description, it sounds like this book has a bit of romance, paranormal aspects with the vampires and zombies, and a few love stories all in one! What interests me most is that this takes place in a town full of vampires, unlike Twilight where it was the family at first. I am only a few chapters in so far, but the book overall has a funny undertone that has really grabbed me. It is also a really easy read that I know I will get through quickly. From Amazon:

Debbie's Handmade Soap: Peppermint, 4.5 oz. - Retail Value $3.49
My last box came with a soap from Debbie's Handmade so I was very excited to receive a new bar. This particular blend smells incredible! Made with peppermint essential oils, this bar of soap fills the room you are in with a refreshing peppermint scent. I have this sitting out in my downstairs washroom and it has filled the space with such a wonderful peppermint smell that makes you come alive.
The Preserve Company: Steep Me Like Tea, Bath Tea - Retail Value $15.00
This bath tea is meant to make you feel like you are swimming in a hot cup of tea! It is made with Epsom salt, fresh ginger, peppermint and chamomile essential oils, and mint leaves. The scents are so herbal and fresh, they really wake your senses. This particular blend is safe to throw straight into a warm bath, or you can even use it as a foot soak. Like most people right now, I have been suffering from a bad head cold, this bath tea really did the trick in helping me to relax. It also provided all of the yummy scents that help with congestion. A wonderful blend to have on hand for a relaxing night in the tub!
Swan Tea Strainer - Retail Value $2.61
I have been in need of a tea strainer! This little guy is shaped like a swan and fits perfectly into a larger tea cup. Just add the loose tea securely into the bottom of the swan and let it steep in your cup of hot water.

This essential oil blend is meant to cool, soothe, and moisturize. All you have to do is apply this blend to any sore joints or muscles for an instant cooling sensation that will relax and tender areas. Now, I am not an athlete and I barely have any time to workout, but I do carry a 32-pound toddler around so I know about tender muscles. I recently pulled a muscle in my back that got worse when I was taking our Christmas tree down so this oil rub was just what I needed! The scent is very potent and calming at the same time, and you feel an instant cooling sensation once you start applying. I felt my back muscles release and had a quick comfort. A great oil to have around!
Verdict: What a fun box from Bubbles & Books! We are in the thick of winter right now where it is too cold to leave the house. This month's box was everything that you could need to help with cabin fever. A refreshing peppermint soap, a soothing bath tea that helps awake your senses, a great romance novel. While I tend to always love my Bubbles & Books, this month's box has been one of my favorites! Plus, with a calculated value of $32.42, you also are getting a great overall value for this month's Bubbles & Books.
