Each box comes with a fold out card detailing the product including and why it is a “hero.”

They also detail the ingredients, benefits or “superpowers” of those ingredients, and provide details on the brand.

Maya Chia The Super Blend Pressed Serum – 15 ml Value $31.50

This serum formula is designed to brighten the appearance of the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and increase the look of skin firmness and resiliency.

It’s a rich balm that melts into your skin and takes a while to absorb – you can use it day or night, but because of the richness, I prefer it for the night. It feels great on my skin, has a lovely natural scent, and you only need a tiny bit each use – this little jar should last me weeks!

Maya Chia The Eye Achiever – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $70

This eye serum is designed to brighten and restore firmness to the skin area around the eyes. And it has a rollerball applicator:

The cool rollerball made this extra soothing to apply (plus I love not having to use my fingers to apply eye cream), and the formula was so light it absorbed almost instantly. Normally I like natural scents, but I wasn’t feeling this one. (The good news for me is that the scent didn’t last too long.)

Verdict: This month’s Beauty Heroes box has a value of about $101.50. I think that’s a good value for the $38.33 cost, and I appreciate that Beauty Heroes sends top-quality natural and organic brands. This box is about quality over quantity, and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a natural beauty box.

  1. This is my favorite box. I’ve subbed to it since September and it dose not disappoint. The products are always high quality and make my skin feel amazing.

  2. Always love what I get in this box. Can’t wait to see the spoilers for February.

  3. I’m always a little leery about oil products around my eyes but I LOVE this product. Just the feel of the cool roller ball is pretty amazing. I’ve subbed on and off to Beauty Heroes and I’m rarely disappointed.
