Paris Postcards

Sticky Kit includes a bonus non-tape item in their washi tape kits and this time I received two postcards that feature illustrations of Paris. The strange thing about these is that it looks like there is space on the front to compose a note (like stationery), but has the traditional space on the back like a normal postcard. Either way, these are pretty cute.

mt Fab Ticket Washi Tape – Retail Value $4.15

I’m really digging this cool tape that looks like vintage tickets in muted yellows, greens, blues, and reds. It has a perforation in between each ticket so you can use as normal washi tape of choose to tear it and use as single stickers! I’ve been saving concert tickets since I was a teenager, so this would be a great way to decorate a scrapbook page dedicated to a memorable show or trip!

Espresso Guide Washi Tape – Retail Value $7.50

Coffee is one of my greatest loves in life, so I was stoked to see this black tape with drawings of espresso drinks in white, complete with their names. Coffee shop gift cards are a popular gift for coworkers or people you depend on but maybe don’t know well enough to give gifts to around the holidays. This tape would be a cute way to decorate an otherwise boring envelope that the card comes in!

mt Watercolor Flower Washi Tape – Retail Value $4.16

At first glance, I thought this was simply a floral patterned tape, but upon closer inspection saw that it has a pale cream background of handwritten letters. This romantic tape is thinner than the rest of the bunch at just over a half inch wide, but would be a lovely border to a journal page or to decorate one of the Paris postcards before sending out.

Eric Small Things Series Washi Tape in Nostalgic – Retail Value $4.75

What a fun little design of stationery goods and other random items like cameras, matches, and cars. This tape is 3/4 inch wide and has the random items against a baby blue background. The artist is apparently known for his stamp designs and I find this roll pretty cute, so I will have to check out more of his stuff!

Verdict:  The Sticky Kit Washi Tape subscription is perfect for washi tape fanatics like me. For $17.99 ($14.99 a month + $3 shipping), I got four unique rolls of washi tape and two postcards. I will say that I think their first month was a bit better since I got one more washi tape and a pen instead of postcards, but I’m interested to see what the future holds.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but you can sign up to receive January now!

  1. I have received postcards from Japan and they all had a space on front for notes along with the standard place on the back.

  2. Really cute.
