Turkey Socks

We actually received this month's package on the Monday after Thanksgiving, which is unfortunate timing for these otherwise totally holiday appropriate socks. These are still fun and funky, but unlike other Sock Panda socks in recent memory, they're not too wild for my tastes.

Love the fall palette in these, with a bit of "millennial pink" along with some trendy burgundy shades.  These are also quite tall compared to socks I receive from other brands, so they're extra cozy for this time of year.

Vegetable Socks

I love these socks! This design is SO detailed, and as someone who loves both vegetables and houseplants, I just love everything about these and I totally want to show them off. I'm well known for making a big tray of roasted root vegetables for our family Thanksgiving dinner, so these feel absolutely perfect for me.

Sock Panda always has such unique designs, and this one is definitely one of my faves. I am also laughing that these are sort of a "side dish" to the other pair, or maybe a "vegetarian-friendly" sock. 😉

The Verdict: Sock Panda is unique among sock subscriptions for it's detailed and unique sock patterns– if you check out past reviews, you'll see some of them are really out there! You can always choose between "Wild & Crazy", "Patterns & Prints" or "One of Each– so if you want something a little more traditional (like stripes and argyles), they have you covered.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Sock Panda sends its socks at random, so you might not get this exact set if you place your order today.

COUPON: Save 15% off your first box with code MSA15!

Value Breakdown: This subscriptions costs $20.00 total for two pairs of socks (price + shipping), meaning each pair is $10.00. Note that the monthly single-pack costs $13.00 total ($12.00 per pair + $1.00 shipping)—to get two pairs that way, you'd pay $26.00. So technically, you save $6.00 by going with the two pack (or $2.00 per pair).

This obviously has some of the “wild and crazy”, but is it both that or is this one of both? I like this combination, so want to be sure that I order the correct subscription. In other words, I wouldn’t want it any more boring than this, so need help with which choice to make.

Also, I had a horrible skiing accident and one leg still has inflammation. Do you find the tops snug? You know how some of the patterned, thin socks (would it be considered intarsia?) are snug and leave marks? I really have a problem with circulation (sorry for TMI), and keep holding off subscribing because I worry about how tight the tops look. Love the turkey and sides theme. Hilarious!

This subscription is “one of each” 🙂 (I think the veggie socks this time are the wild & crazy ones, and the turkey socks are the patterned ones.)

The tops of these socks seem pretty stretchy to me. They fit snugly on my calves but they aren’t like wearing compression socks. They do leave just a bit of a mark on my leg but they’re not tight to the point where I am excited to take them off at the end of the day, if that makes sense. I’m short but otherwise I’d say I have average sized calves. Hope that helps!
