POPSUGAR Must Have Box December 2017 Box Spoiler #2!

I’m soo happy they finally put a piece of jewelry in their box for us people with Nickel Allergies! I’ve been bummed each time I get cute pieces of jewelry that I have to give away because they’re silver or brass! Now I can finally enjoy one for myself. I’m excited!

Love scarves, but have way too many. I live in LA, people think I’m ridiculous when I bust out my scarf. This one, although very pretty & love the sparkles, looks very snaggy.

And Helen brought up a good point earlier – how bout a nice holiday red with sparkles or festive green, royal blue or advent purple with sparkles? All of these bold winter colours would have been so much more welcome than another boring grey.

But either way, I bought this box (at the 30% discount) for the necklace. Everything coming in it is just gravy 😁

Not a huge fan of the necklace but I love the scarf. I’ve liked almost everything from every box the past few months and had series box envy (I lucked out with their cyber Monday deal and got September, October, and November though!), so I think I’m going to bite the bullet and subscribe.

They are off to an excellent start this month! I know a lot of subscribers didn’t like the Tilo scarf from February 2016, but I loved it! An understated and sweet accessory for Valentine’s Day (all February, really). It was too wide so I cut it in half, frayed the edges and gave one half to my mom.

Well, I hated that necklace so much that I didn’t do a Black Friday weekend deal . Now I wish I had. Love that scarf.

Now I’m not sad I got 2 Dec. boxes coming. Both items will make great gifts, too! Fingers crossed that this whole box is a winner! I will beyond thrilled! 😉

I love both spoilers so much, everything else is a bonus. That necklace in gold is going to pair well my my box of style earrings and the La Soula rings!

It’s great how everyone loves the scarf. All I can think is ‘Not another grey scarf!’
Why not red or even white for once? I look positively consumptive in grey. Surely I’m not alone in being unable to wear that colour?

I swapped away the last one and will be swapping this too. So if anyone’s jonesing for it, you know where to come.

The scarf did it for me. I’d spend nearly the box price on that no question. I can already think of multiple outfits I want it for. Easy decision to buy this.

I have 3 Tilo scarves from Luxor LE boxes. Love them & really happy with this box!

love the necklace but not so thrilled with the scarf. I like scarves but this one does not look like it is worth $98. Oh, Liz you look wonderful modelling the various items in the sub boxes. Everyone is correct that the outfits and accessories look beautiful on you.

This really doesn’t look like a $98 scarf. Seen very similar ones at world market for cheap. Excited for the necklace though!

I’ll either swap the scarf or use as a cover on my bookcase since this is prettier than the sparkly one they sent a few years ago.

I am always hot and it doesn’t get cold enough to wear them in South Texas even if they are thin.😕

I need another scarf like I need a hole in my head, but——- I LOVE THIS SCARF!!!! I wear them a lot so it will definitely be used, but sometimes I glance in my closet and laugh at how many I have. Only a handful of scarves came from boxes. I purchased the rest.

For those who do not get higher end catalogs (be glad) or ocasionally shop at very high end stores or peruse their websites for fun— yes, you would be amazed at the fat prices on every item you can imagine. They are mass produced so I’m imagining there are many people who regularly buy them. It’s a luxury for me, but I do purchase $100 scarves and $300 cashmere sweaters WHEN I can. I do try for sales though. I also shop and adore my items from Target and Home Goods, as well. As much as I love the styles, most of my Target clothes barely make it a season or two if worn frequently. So getting these higher quality fabrics and well made items in these boxes is extremely exciting for me. Agreed, when looking through the Neiman Marcus website or big book catalog, I’m truly amazed and perplexed at the prices on many of the products. But somebody buys them at regular price—just not me. Lol 😂. So, it’s not inflated by the sub brand (usually) it’s inflated by the fashion industry. And finer fabrics and dyes and metals cost more to make. I dunno, I just choose to be appreciative to receive a very high quality item at an extremely discounted price.

OOhhhhh!!! Pretty!! PS December boxes are always one of the best of the year, IMO. They just have a knack for choosing festive things that don’t scream “HOLIDAY”.
