KissMe Venice Lipstick

LiveGlam KissMe Liquid Matte Lipstick in Venice – Retail Value $19.99

This month LiveGlam went all out with special packaging! The normal rose gold caps have been replaced with silvery glittery ones to get you in the holiday spirit.

The first color is the softest mauve of the bunch and is similar to others that I have, which means I’ll probably wear this one a lot. The formula for this shade is great and I’ve noticed that the lighter colors aren’t as harsh on your lips as some others.

The color is marked on the bottom so you know what to swap out or get more of in the future.

Loving this color on! It’s kind of the perfect pink-mauve and matches my skin tone rather nicely.

The next one is slightly darker and perfectly in the middle of the other two shades. I don’t dislike this one, but compared to the others, I think I’d rather go lighter or darker with them.

Here it is on my lips. Neither here nor there for me.

The final mauve lippie this month is the darkest and perhaps my favorite. The booklet calls this one a “cool toned” mauve and I’d have to agree since it has deep purple vibes.

Very wintery on! It’s definitely a bolder statement than the others. I will say that the darker the pigment, the dryer it seems. After a few hours, this lippie felt kinda cakey and not super moisturized, so I’d suggest wiping off and reapplying for it to feel fresh again.

Verdict: KissMe put out some special packaging this month and hooked me up with three new mauves. I freaking love mauve lipsticks, but I will say that I have a ton, so more variety would have been nice. I also worry about the people out there who maybe don’t like mauves at all and received three at once! You can swap them out for past colors though, so that’s not really an issue. I am surprised they went all matte as well instead of some sparkle or metallics though.

  1. My account was hacked this is happening. Thousands of dollars. I didn’t sub to this company I only went to the site on my mobile the night this happened. I don’t know how they did it.

  2. My account was hacked November 3rd when I went to this site. Thousands of dollars in multiple transactions were stolen from me my bank took care of me. I didn’t have money for days after this happened. The bank still payed my bills even though I didn’t have any money after I was robbed. I didn’t even put my bank information in to sub for this company. I don’t know how my account was hacked but it was hacked the night I went to this site.

  3. I got the black Friday deal so I got these 3 and 2 other colors for $10. I love the formula! I love all 3 of these. I gave one of my bonus ones to my mom, she loves it too. I cancelled today only because I have too many lippies. I highly recommended this sub!

  4. i’ve watched some videos about this subscription and there are dozens of people saying that after they canceled or ordered that they had their card info compromised and literally hundreds of dollars in fraudulent charges and they company has not returned emails about their issues.

something you might want to look into before signing up.

    • I just watched several videos this morning about the same thing. I want to try Morphe Me, but too afraid because of all I’ve seen about credit card fraud happening to tons of their subscribers!

    • I just checked my card transactions and I’m fine so far… here is the latest official statement from LiveGlam:

      Update 12/10/17 – 10:30AM PST

Our team has been working around the clock with our forensic experts to get to the bottom of our customers’ reports of fraud on their credit cards by 3rd parties. This process has been especially difficult since we do not store any customer financial records on our system. We have now discovered evidence indicating that an attacker intercepted some of our customers’ payment card information between checkout and our secure credit card processor. We immediately stopped this and took additional security measures to help prevent this attack from happening again.

      What has been done:

The major payment card brands have been notified of the issue so they can monitor our customers’ payment card accounts closely for potentially fraudulent purchases.
Federal law enforcement has been notified about the issue and we will work with investigators to identify the attacker.
Forensic experts are conducting a thorough investigation and review of the attack.
Our next critical priority is identifying which customers’ payment cards could have been affected. As soon as the forensics experts have identified which customers were exposed to this attack we will issue those customers individual notifications. In addition we will offer to pay for credit monitoring services to further our commitment to protecting our customers. We understand the time sensitive nature of this and are continuing to work as quickly as possible.

We very much appreciate your patience in this phase of the investigation and truly apologize for the inconvenience and stress this has caused. We will continue to update this blog with new information as it becomes available.

      • In my opinion, this is a really disappointing response from a company. They should be emailing subscribers, not doing a random blog post that people may or may not see. This is also a very belated response to many, many customer complaints.

A lot of the videos going around are accusing the company of not acting in good faith, and the company’s poor response to this supposed security issue definitely doesn’t help with that perception.

  5. I was watching on YouTube this morning that the company Live Glam have been having a lot of issues with their subscribers being victims of credit card fraud either right after signing up for service or cancelling their services. It’s got me too scared to even take the chance of signing up, even though I’ve been really wanting to try out the Morphe subscription! Has anyone else heard of this or experienced this issue with subscribing to Live Glam subscription?

  6. Wow, mauve is definitely your color! All 3 shades are gorgeous on you but I actually think the middle one is absolutely stunning!!

This was my first month and I really like these colors too. 🙂

    • Thanks so much, heat!

    • Totally agree with Heat! I thought you looked stunning with the Madrid, until I scrolled down to the Naples. Wow! I want that Naples!!! LOL
