Does the sizing on the robe seem a bit leaning on the smaller side to any of you who got one? It said true to size, so I went true to size and… 🙁 It pulls weird and the cleavage covering part is really wide & open. And the pattern is such that there isn’t a collar or any way to bundle it up more to make it more cozy. It reminds me of a wrap dress in its design.
Any thoughts?

I really wish I could exchange it for a size up just so I could actually use it as a robe. 🙁

I’m so torn on the robe. The color and general appearance is way better than I was expecting. There’s a bluish tint to it that is just gorgeous. Being plus size, I’m very used to size variations. Typically I wear a 1x in clothing and it fits well. But due to past experiences, I decided to go not 1 but 2 sizes up to be on the safe side. I like my robes to be loose and comfy. The 3x fits life a glove, exactly how I’d expect the 1x to fit. With my chest being what it is, I certainly can’t use the robe to cover up. But it does keep me warming when I’m just chilling in my pjs at night,

I think it leans on the larger side, myself. I usually am in between sizes, so ordered up and the fit is also awkward.
I use the inner tie on the belt loop on one side to keep it in place, as I can not seem to get the inner tie to make the fit comfortable.

I like every item in this box! But I am mega bummed out. I am not a subscriber but purchased a mystery box. It arrived today and I don’t like/won’t use a single item in it. 😢 It seemed like I definitely got the bottom of the barrel items. I am not sure why they offered to let us send our wishlists – I didn’t receive one item from mine. I get that you’re taking a gamble with a mystery box, but I was really hoping the mystery box would be awesome and it’d inspire me to pull the trigger on a sub. But alas, I’ll just save my money I guess. Nonetheless, this looks like a great box. 😊

I am also not a subscriber but considered a sub until I got my mystery box with 0 items I asked for or will use. The town I live in is literally on fire and they sent me a box of matches with a skull on it. Now i will never subscribe to this box after the bait and switch.

I would have rather used the $50 on this box. Not one item from my wish list. Mystery box had notecards, hair tie bracelet, paper clips, matches, and white weird cups. This was my first mystery box from happy rebel and i will do this to myself again

My mystery box was exactly the same! Soooo disappointing!!! Nothing I want or need, it will probably all go to Goodwill ivet the next few months. I have had silicon wine glasses like these white ones before… it is very hard to drink from them without squeezing the sides and spilling the wine.

I had a similar experience with the mystery box. I bought two boxes and received one item from my wishlist, the memobottle. Everything else was meh. It was disappointing.

If you check out the forum you’ll see the barrel was very wide and many of us got the bottom…. unless you wanted the earbud and then that was ALL you received. I’m the same as you when it came to finally grabbing a mystery box and if it was great I would have got the sub and 50$ lost is a $100 saved and more for me since I generally do annuals.

Loved everything in my box but the headband – that will go up for swap. Otherwise, awesome winter box!

I LOVE this box! I put the robe on as soon as I opened it. The candle is nice and the packaging is GORGE (although $92 feels a little inflated for a candle BUT it’s not as if Happy Rebel sets the retail value either). The turban is so so cute! I’m so glad it’s part of the box. The beauty/bath products look really nice, I haven’t tried any of them yet.

Received my box yesterday! I’m so happy with everything in it! One funny thing, the discription for the robe stated that it could be styled to wear on an evening out. I have no idea how you could pull that off and not look like you’re wearing a robe!

I would say maybe: form fitting black dress (shorter than the robe itself), knee-high black boots, statement necklace, messy updo and either no nylons or some with a neat pattern (sheer black with black for pattern). That’s just how I would do it.

I wish I hadn’t bought this box. I’m swapping everything in it. Perhaps I’m sub boxed out but I already have more beauty products and candles than I know what to do with. And I’ll never wear a grey robe.

With each box I get from Happy Rebel the more I love this subscription. Well thought out boxes with fair value, above and beyond customer care and giving back to charities. Loved my mystery boxes also and to take the time to even try to ask for requests and try to deliver what they could was challenging on their part but appreciated.

Mine should hopefully be here tomorrow… I am excited about the robe and was happy they had a wide-variety of sizes! I really could’ve used the robe a few weeks ago when I went on vacation to Argentina. When I travel abroad and go to a spa, they never have a robe large enough for me. This looks perfect, like it’d not be too thin yet also not take up too much room in luggage.

@happyrebel @Lizcadman post says 7 items plus bonus for MSA I only see 7 items. Am I missing something? Is there a coupon or something that got left out? Thanks.

Love it! Exactly what I was hoping for. Loved all of the spoilers, excited to try the skin care items, and you can never have too many bath soaks/salt/bombs on hand. I have a very stressful job, so my little “spa nights” at home with a bath, some extra skin care, and a bottle of wine are how I cope with rough weeks. This couldn’t be better for the holiday season.

Doh! I have terrible allergies, so I can’t use the candle or any of the bath/beauty products, so sadly this was a miss for me. Going to have to try to trade everything other than the robe. 🙁

I can handle the candle, but am allergic to the other stuff based on the ingredients. I’m not a fan of when lifestyle boxes sneak a bunch of skincare into a box! Makes it mostly unusable. I can use the candle and the robe at least, the headwrap is weird and the skincare and bath soaks are useless to me sadly. I’ve read every review of this box and the thing that made me sub to this finally was that they rarely put skincare in the box!

Also why I subbed, lifestyle boxes shouldn’t have beauty—that’s what all the beauty boxes are for. Hopefully it was just this box and not a new trend for future boxes.

The robe is amazing. A blue gray and such heavy quality fabric. The candle is huge and smells amazing. I treated myself to a lux bath with face mask and candle tonight and now I am curled up in the robe reading. My favorite way to relax. This box was amazing.

I think a lot have to use the ground shipping because if they send out nail polish or some other items it cannot go on planes because it’s a hazardous item. Otherwise it’s probably just cheaper to send in bulk on ground shipping. But, I totally agree that when I get the shipping notification for a box and it arrives just a couple days later it’s basically a miracle!! 🤗
