  1. Price increase on shipping but they don’t ship on time? 🤦🏻‍♀️👀🤔 I think LC is going to be gone by end of next year.

  5. Cancelled all of my subscriptions. They are consistently late shipping boxes and increased the price twice now. No thank you

  6. They should probably expect to lose a lot of subscribers. I like their products but they are already always about a month late. I’m not going to pay more for that so inevitably I’m going to end up canceling.

  7. Just resubbed a few months ago. I like my boxes, yet I dont like them enough to pay $5 more a month for each one, unless i see an additional item. I sub 2 of lootcrate boxes. if they wanted to save money on shipping they could combine the boxes and ship the items in one box instead of 2. I would prefer that instead of a $5 price increase on each box. Plus then I would have less boxes to recycle.

    So far since I’ve subbed my boxes are shipping late without tracking. I am not liking that. Customer service was better years ago and they shipped quicker.

    Disapointed the pet box which is now canceled was a dog box. They had a great idea, yet the pet box was a “dog box” if they would have expanded on that idea and made a cat and dog box the box may have still be around.

    • I’m conflicted right now. I’ve been a subscriber for a while now but I’ve actually noticed a decline in quality and for a while I actually inexplicably stopped receiving tracking notices via email. I have the 1 month plan currently, and I’m on limited income, but in lieu of the price raise…. I guess I’m going to have to cancel. It’s honestly just not worth it anymore

  8. Just an addition, the Loot Crate DX is also getting the $2 shipping increase.

  9. My suspicions are, this is a way to get more money that they are bleeding out. On the Loot Crate spoilers subreddit, there is speculation that Lootcrate is losing a lot of money and can’t pay their creditors, thus the shipping problems. Supposedly they keep having the 30% off sales in order to raise money to get certain crates out. They alternate which Crate gets the money. Thus shipping delays.

    Of course this is all speculation, from someone that claims to be a vendor, but everything they say kind of makes sense. Plus if you read the Loot Crate reviews on Glassdoor, it really adds fuel to this fire.

    One of the items in the core crate this month is leftover stock from an old DX Crate.

    They tried to grow too fast with too many crates and stretched themselves too thin.

    I’ll be shocked if they make it to 2019.

  11. Seriously. This company has SO….MANY….ISSUES. And now, instead of fixing those issues, they want us all to pay MORE money to them. What a large pile. I currently get loot for her, loot tees, loot pets and loot wearables to my house for various family members. Their customer service is absolutely horrid. Seriously the worst of any company I’ve ever dealt with. Their shipping is absurd. There is simply no way I will be renewing any of my subscriptions for more money. The only thing that made it possible for me to tolerate their crappy service was the cheap prices.

  13. I’ve had a normal Loot Crate subscription since August 2015. It seems my shipments are late on a regular basis now, and every time I inquire about them I get a canned response. The company is extremely unprofessional… and now they’re asking for more money??? I think it’s finally time to cancel my service.

  14. This was a bridge too far for me. I already thought that the value I was getting in each crate was very low. Now, I’m done with this company forever.

  15. Maybe they should stop offering 30% off deals on call subs…. would save them more. I got my husband a six month sub with 30% off so I think I’m pretty set and it’ll take a year at this point to get all 6

  16. This is crazy! I ordered from the vault on 10/22 and still have not even gotten a processing or shipping notice! When i followed up with them they gave a canned response and now this! I will never order from this company again as you never know when/if your items will show up!

  17. I think they should address (unintended pun!) a lot of shipping, sizing and other customer service issues before they charge a penny extra.

    I really like the wearables I get from them but I’m actually a bit offended by this. They’ve had so many issues in the year that I’ve been a subscriber. It feels like insult in top of injury.

  18. They want to charge more because of shipping costs but they can’t even ship on time?

    • So much this. I am STILL waiting for my November Wizarding Crate. This was the final straw for me. Until they can actually ship on time, it’s inappropriate to charge more. Just finished canceling my sub.

  19. Anyone else feel it’s brazen of them to ask for more when they can’t seem to get their act together?

    • No joke… As somebody that has been waiting 4 weeks for a “vault” order that was supposed to ship in 3-5 days and has had to file a PayPal claim because they won’t respond, thus just cements my belief that I should stay away going forward.
      I cancelled my crates months ago when they couldn’t ship anything on time.

      • I’m waiting for my vault order too! They did reply to my email but just said, hey we are busy its the holidays email us again if it isnt here by the 25th! um no, I shouldnt be the one following up with you! I’m thinking of doing a charge back too at this point, the things I ordered were for a party this weekend sooo
