  3. I just got an email saying that they are launching their own collection of jewelry. I hope this doesn’t mean that I’ll only be getting their collection instead of pieces from new French designers. That was the whole reason why I subscribed to the box… to try new jewelry from France. I just signed up for a year’s subscription too. 🙁

    • Oh Thank You for responding, Danielle! Yeah…that doesn’t sound as exciting. lol
      Maybe they’ll send one piece from a French designer and one piece from their collection? That’d be a good way to integrate it, but I agree that it would be disheartening to get only E&C branded jewelry from hereout. I appreciate the reply! Fingers crossed for us both.

  4. Has anyone gotten the “Surprise” email yet? I wonder, do you have to have an active subscription or can you gift a December box and still receive it?

  6. Hey y’all, I used the code ‘WELCOME’ by itself (without the 20 after) and got the Dec box for $20 instead of 35. Idk if it works with the other longer subscriptions, but it’s still a steal-$20 for $250 worth of product!! I love this subscription. I was so impressed by the quality of the Les Tatillonnes necklace. 😍 Go forth and get discounts!

    • I found a code that makes the December box $10. I think the code is just good for new subscriptions though.

          • I’ve subbed before. I ordered it as a gift sub for someone else and it seemed to work.

  7. What a delight, the other boxes could learn a thing or two from them! I do know that one item is a pair of earrings valued at $102 because they are shown with the glossybox offer.

  8. So excited. I gifted A 3 month sub with the Black Friday special. I know She will be excited. Any guesses on what we will be getting. Photo shows the Coraline bracelet from a few months ago.

  9. Liz, or anyone, can you clarify is this the regular December box for subscribers. Or is it an additional purchase limited addition box?

    • I think that the regular December box is this box-there’s only 1,000 boxes available though so it’s limited edition. I hope that helps. 🙂

    • I sure hope it’s not just for newbies, that just cruelty 🙃

      • Someone is saying on Instagram that they were told that the two pieces are just for new subscribers. Early indications point to this being one pair of earrings for regular subscribers.

      • If it’s only new subscribers, that is BS. I received this email while being an active subscriber. NO WHERE in the email in any terms does this say “only new subscribers” nor does it claim you need to use a promo for this. So shady if it’s truly only new subscribers. They have email mailing list problems all the time since I at one point as an active subscriber would receive 2 “subscribe now and get xyz gift!” emails every month. Blatant false advertising. But I’ll just wait and see and hope I’m angry for no reason…

            Your response makes no sense. New subscribers purchased this box “separately,” unlike automatically renewing subscribers? Did they purchase it “separately” from their new subscription?

            The email was bad form and it was not because any of your current subscribers who the company sent the email to were “confused.” It’s because you sent the email to them in mistake with no clear terms and conditions stated on it. I’d really you rather reach out to all the subscribers you sent this email to who feel burned then try to mitigate a comment here and there with “an alternative.”

            We’re offering a special Holiday boxes for customer joining this month, which makes sense. I feel really sorry that this Holiday box makes you that angry.
            I was offering to have Elodie being in touch by email to make sure our existing customers don’t feel left out during those kind of promo. Which is I think, a kind move from us – but I may be wrong 🙂

  11. Hey! For any GB subscribers, it looks like you can still get the free Emma & Chloe box. There is a link on the site under the subscriptions tab. I’m kicking myself for canceling my GB account earlier this week!

    • Unfortunately, Glossybox is advertising these free earrings, but they don’t really have any earrings left. It’s a bait and switch. I signed up a few days ago for Glossybox just to get the earrings and then I emailed them right afterwards and said that I didn’t want the subscription if I’m not getting the earrings. Well, they sent me a shipping notification for the box and then a couple days later they said… “Sorry, we don’t have any more earrings. You aren’t getting them.”

  12. their site is showing $420 charge in cart for a monthly subscription instead of the $35 advertised…not sure what kind of bug they have going on but it’s definitely annoying
