Bezel Box Mini November 2017 Review

This month’s box includes a statement necklace and a pair of earrings. Now let’s see the jewelry.

Bezel Box Mini November 2017 - Info Back

This box came with a card showing the included jewelry and outfit suggestions for the pieces.

Bohm Black Cluster Statement Necklace

Bohm Black Cluster Statement Necklace

The necklace this month is quite the statement piece. It has a large cluster of black faceted stones surrounding a silvery-gray, reflective stone. The base metal color for the chain and around the stones is a shiny smoky grey (not quite black). It has enough weight to it to feel solid and well-made, but it is surprisingly light for its size. It isn’t quite my style and I feel like it is a little imbalanced with the big cluster and small chain. It might look good framed by a jacket collar though.

The back is finished and the metal is smooth. There is a branding mark stamped into the metal. This helps the necklace feel like it is good quality.

The necklace hooks closed with an easy to open lobster style clasp and has an extender so you can adjust the length.

Bohm Hoop Earrings

Bohm Hoop Earrings

These small open hoop earrings are the same color base metal as the necklace. The style is quite a bit daintier. They have small stones inlaid on the outer side of the hoop in different shades of blue, purple, and green. They are very lightweight and have wide backs which make them comfortable to wear.

Here are the pieces worn together. I feel like even though they coordinate in terms of color, the styles compete a bit too much for me. I do like the pieces better on their own. I probably won’t reach for the earrings because I don’t love them. But, I think the necklace might work for holiday parties paired with a simple black dress and a sleek jacket.

The Verdict: My Bezel Box Mini this month was just ok. I’m not a big fan of the style of the earrings and will most likely end up gifting them. But, I feel like the necklace can work for me. So, for $24.99 with free shipping, I got two pieces of well-made jewelry that are very different than what I have already. The style is also different from last month. I like that they seem to vary styles so subscribers don’t end up with lots of jewelry that they don’t love. I wouldn’t mind seeing Bezel Box Mini include 2 pieces that aren’t meant to coordinate too since many people don't like to be too matchy.

The Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, if you sign up today, your first box will be the January box.

Value Breakdown: This box cost me $24.99, which means that each of the pieces in the box has an average cost of $12.50.

Feel free to gift those earrings to me! I think they’re lovely. On the other hand I’m not a big fan of the way the necklace lays- it’s very costume, IMO.

The necklace is a lot of fun! Could be worn in the spring as well. Simple yet bold flower statement – gorgeous! – The earrings dont seem to match the necklace though, which is odd.
