BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. It’s one of our favorite subscription boxes – our dog loves it, and we’ve gifted it to dogs in our extended family as well!

BarkBox customizes your box to your dog’s size. For reference, this review is for the small size (our dog weighs 14 pounds). Check out Ragan's April review of the super chewer box!

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Each delivery comes with a card - they typically highlight a few variations of the items you could receive. This month also has a recipe on the reverse side.

Knitwear Heggie - Value $12

Let's start with this little adorable hedgehog!

Heggie is ready for winter with mits, scarf, and a beanie! It's a squeezable plush with a squeaker inside - and it's a great size for Buckles.

He liked Heggie because it had a lot of little items to grab on to!

L.L. Bark Boots - Value $10

The second toy is a combination of a plushie and a rope toy.

This is attached with a t-shirt rope which is safer for your pup. On top of that, the boots have some extra durable bits to them for the pups that love tearing into things.

I was surprised by how much Buckles enjoy playing with this one - he's typically not interested in anything with a rope on it - even it's it's two little plushies.

Rocco and Roxie Beef Jerky Sticks - Value $13

Both treats were major hits with our pup this month - first is your basic beef stick.

These were softer than what I'm used to breaking apart for Buckles - so I knew he'd really love these.

They're made in the USA and gluten-free! And, apparently, delicious.

American Hound Turkey Cranberry Treats - Value $12

The second treat is perfect for training - they're little bite-sized turkey + cranberry poppers - perfect for a November box.

These are little airy bites - he had no problem crunching these. Here's a bit more info from the Barkshop:

Made in the USA by our friends at American Hound, these tangy, savory morsels give your pup a chance to get in on the foods of the season.

These are easy to treat him to since they're so small!

Etta Says Elk Chew - Value $3

It's pretty common to get a shew or rawhide as the last item in the box. Our dog has stomach issues with these types of treats - so we always gift them.

Verdict: Buckles has been loving his new toys and treats from BarkBox - he loves digging through as we unbox it! Both toys and both packs of treats are home runs - that's all I can really ask for!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. The December box has starting shipping recently, so your subscription should start with that theme.

Another disappointing Barkbox! Toys don’t last two days. I have twenty nine pound poodle mix who is one year old. He is not destructive at all Toys purchased from local pet stores have lasted 10 months. Toys from Barkbox are very poor quality. They replaced some but not all with equally poor quality toys! Waste of money!

I received the same box, and my dog loves both toys! I love that the hedgehog looks like a Christmas decoration that you may just put on your couch anyway, so that’s a plus!
