I shop Bauble Bar a lot, so this is a very vauable coupon to me! (I can get a necklace for under $10!)
Now, on to the items!
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer – .12 oz Value $7.35
I’ve sampled the Hourglass Primer before, and I love the formula. It really creates a flawless feeling base on your skin. (Plus it is free of parabens, fragrance and sulfates). And it has a built in SPF15. The only thing I don’t love about it is the sample applicator. It’s just like a lipgloss/stick – I think it would have been easier to use in a tube or pump.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop – Mini Size! Value $19
I’d say this is the hero item of the box!
And it is SUCH an impressive highlighter! Excellent pigment and shimmer with just one brush stroke and the warm champagne colors gives skin a healthy glow, too.
Here it is swatched:
It blends easily, too. And since the shimmer is so intense, this mini should last for months!
Oribe Matte Waves Texture Lotion – 15 ml Value $6.30
Like all Oribe products, this hair styling product smells amazing. I used it on damp hair, and let my hair air dry. I didn’t notice any difference in how my hair dried, but the added texture was great. It helped my hair hold curls better the next day when I styled it.
Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser – 1 oz Value $3.67
This cleanser is a classic for a reason – it works great for sensitive skin, and removes makeup well, and doesn’t strip your skin of oil.
Dior Diorshow Mascara – 1.5 ml Value $4.27
I don’t love the non-twist and lock design of this mascara sample, but the formula itself is great. Length, volume and lash separation: check, check, and check!
Morphe M433 Brush – Pro Firm Blending Fluff – Full Size! Value $6
This is Jaclyn Hill’s all time favorite eye brush!
The goat hair bristles are slightly longer in the center, so it’s great for defining the outer crease, blending shadow out, and applying color between your crease and brow bone.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $46.59! (Not counting the Bauble Bar coupon code.) That’s great for a $15 beauty box! Sometimes Allure delivers higher values, but I think this is one of their best boxes yet, and I love the Jaclyn Hill curation – you can definitely tell that these are all high-end brands she loves.
