Audrina Choker/Necklace

This first look is super pretty and very blinged out. The silvery moments in the necklace have kind of a bright gunmetal-gray tone to them, which made this piece feel a little fresher and more modern than it could be if it was more brassy or distressed. As someone who typically wears more low-key or simpler jewelry, I was surprised by how much I liked this crystal-accented piece.

I will say that I didn't get the "choker" element of it. In the photo above, I'm wearing this 18" necklace on the smallest setting, and it's still laying more like a short necklace rather than a choker. It's a shame, too, since I bet this would look AMAZING as a true choker. That said, it's very comfortable to wear how it is. Frame it with a scoop-necked party dress, and it'd definitely turn heads!

Audrina Bracelet

There's a matching bracelet to go with the necklace, too! I'm not usually a "set" person, but in the case of more traditional settings like fancy holiday parties, I totally see how these matching looks would be pretty classy. I might also mix and match these pieces with other bold looks. This bracelet has the gem-studded design as the necklace. I'm wearing it at about the middle length, and it's just slightly loose on me. (It's about 8.5" long.) The way these gems catch the light is really lovely!

Jules Smith Sterling-Silver-Dipped Cuff Bracelet

The next item is a real 180 turn from the vibe of the last set. This ultra-sleek silver bracelet is super modern. It's definitely more my usual aesthetic, so I was happy to check it out. The cuff bends the slightest bit so that you can tighten or loosen it to fit. (I had to squeeze it a bit to have it stay on my wrist.) It's about 2.5" in diameter as-is. Very cool!

Bonus Item: Vintage Hair Pin

Now that my once-very-short hair is finally growing long enough to play with, getting things like this barrette is fun again! I appreciate how sturdy and stiff this metal clip is, since it seems like it'll hold its place quite well. The crystals and dark, cool-toned silver is pretty, too. I feel like this would make an otherwise simple little-black-dress-centric outfit really pop.

The Verdict: I liked this month's Your Bijoux Box more than I expected! The jewelry was definitely more on the traditional end of things, and while that's not something I'd typically pick for myself, the cool tones ended up being pretty appealing. Honestly, the way those crystals catch the light in real life is hard not to like!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Usually, this subscription processes orders on the 1st of each month and ships on the 15th, but according to a helpful comment (thanks Your Bijoux Box!), we know that the November box will be selling through the end of the month!

Coupon – Use coupon code WELCOME to get a bonus piece of jewelry with your first box.

Value Breakdown: At $39.99 for this box, the average value of each of the featured pieces would be $13.33. Add the bonus item in, and that average is about $10.00. That seems super fair for what I received this month, quality- and style-wise!

I’m pretty upset that the bracelet that was sent out is not the same one that was sent out via email by bijouxbox. Mine is even different than the one in the review, it’s 3 tiny bracelets you’re supposed to wear as a stack. Pretty disappointing since I was really looking forward to the turquoise bracelet – not sure why they say something will be in there if it’s not.

I loved the spoiler pic of the Jules Smith gold cuff with the blue stones. I’d planned on subscribing to get that cuff. But with there being a variation of Jules smith items being sent out, I’m not sure about subscribing now

It’s a shame if that’s the one piece you were most looking forward to! Looking at the messaging around the November spoilers, I think they did mention that styles might vary, but it’s frustrating if the bracelet in the accompanying photo was the one that caught your eye. (Here’s our post with the spoiler, for reference: https://www.mysubscriptionaddiction.com/2017/11/your-bijoux-box-november-2017-spoiler-3-coupon.html)

Thanks for bringing this up, Lisa and Holly!

This is one of my favorite Bijoux boxes I’ve gotten. I’m a glam kind of girl and these pieces are perfect for my upcoming holiday party. The quality is really nice. I got a set of delicate gold bracelets instead of the modern silver one you have. But they will be a wonderful Christmas gift for my daughter. I almost cancelled this sub over the summer but now I’m glad I didn’t.
