Rocksbox is a designer jewelry styling and renting service. Members pay a flat rate every month to get unlimited access the Rocksbox collection and the option to buy the pieces they love most at a discounted price.
Upon subscribing, you'll take a "style survey," so Rocksbox can suggest jewelry pieces that fit your style. You can also browse their catalog and add pieces to your wishlist. Each month, Rocksbox will curate sets of three pieces to send your way, including at least one piece from your wishlist. When I first started my subscription, I got really excited to "shop" the site and added a ton to my wishlist. But recently, I've decided to let the stylists do the curating. So everything in this box has been picked by Rocksbox, rather than me. I can't wait to see what they chose!!!
Try on the items in the box, and wear them as long as you'd like. From there, you have two choices. If you love any of the pieces enough to want to keep them, you can put your $21 monthly "Shine Credit" towards your purchase. Or, if you're ready for another style, return your box using the free shipping label and reusable envelope you got with your shipment. Shortly after, you'll get a brand new box of jewelry to enjoy!
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Here's the booklet with the list of the products I received.
Here's the return label to use once I'm done with my pieces. The envelope the box comes in has a second adhesive strip so that you can reuse it on your return!
Aster Clove Pendant in Obsidian - Member Price $54.00
I love the colors and patterns of natural stone. This pendant is made from sleek, black stone with cloud-like gray patterns striping across it. While the arrowhead-inspired design isn't my style, I definitely see why they picked this piece for me. I love the colors of the stone, the simple, minimalist vibe of the piece, and the gold accents. It's cool how the chain closes via a loop near the pendant, too—no need to fumble around with a clasp behind my neck!
Perry Street Dixie Drops in Pyrite - Member Price $54.00
I've seen so many people in pom-pom earrings lately, and while I love how eye-catching they are, I can never decide on what color I'd pick. (As you all know, I love me some neutral, go-with-everything tones.) I feel like these ball-shaped gold earrings have the same voluminous impact that pom-pom earrings have, and surprisingly enough, they're not much heavier than pom-poms might be. I was really happy to find them pretty lightweight and very comfortable. Best of all, they're gold! The best color, haha! The fact that they're covered in studs gives them a fun, twinkly finish, too. Do note that these bad boys are a more metal-ish, silvery tone of gold, whereas the pendant featured a gold that was a bit more yellow.
Aster Gardenia Cuff Set of 3 in Gold - Member Price $58.00
For some reason, I never buy bracelets for myself, but every time I have an occasion to wear them, they always make my outfit feel complete and super chic. This set of three gives me plenty of options—I can just wear one when I need a subtle bit of shine, or I can wear all three for a bit more of a statement. I dig the understated textures of each band, though I kind of wish there were three different textures rather than the same one across all three pieces. My only real gripe with these guys is that they were pretty tight on my slightly smaller wrists. Rocksbox says they're "slightly adjustable", but I found them a little too stiff for me to feel comfortable bending them open (maybe if I had bought them for myself I'd be more comfortable with it, but being that they're just a rental, I felt less inclined to risk it).
The Verdict: Rocksbox sent along some fun pieces, all of which, in my opinion, had a quality level that matched their member price. I loved the abundance of gold they sent along, and the contemporary shapes that were featured in this month's set. I feel like more than any other jewelry rental service I've tried, Rocksbox fits my aesthetic most closely, so I've had a lot of luck getting fresh, unique styles I want for myself.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every box is different and packed based on the customer's tastes and what's available at the time. You can, however, give the Rocksbox stylists a nudge by adding your favorite pieces to your wishlist!
Value Breakdown: At $21.00, I saved $145.00 on this three-piece set! Granted, I do have to send them back eventually. But if I choose to keep anything, the $21.00 I spent on the initial rental goes towards that cost. If I keep everything, I get $10.00 off, too!
