POPSUGAR Must Have Box – Better Than Black Friday 2017 Deal!

I finally got Dec box yesterday! I got the free gift too! I was surprised because i thought when i finally ordered, the free gift was out of stock. (Oribe spray, star party picks, washi tape). Fun. Now… still waiting for the 2nd Dec box gift i ordered. Hope i get a different candle smell. This box had ‘Moscow Mule’ candle smell. It smells good.

I am new customer and I am trying to use the 30% off for the current December Box and it says invalid. 🙁 Is it working for people?

I quit after being an annual subscriber since the beginning! They didn’t even tell me when they started charging me month to month. Finally I realized it and stuck w them. I realized there was a price increase they had sent out a email but I’m not subbing for 3 months to then have to watch for them to charge me full price for month to month after being a member for so many YEARS! I buy every LE BOX and gifts for my daughter too from them. Then the new subscribers are the only ones who ever get a price break now or gift. Same w glossybox. Or they later offer the monthly box at a sale price. It’s super upsetting.

I too am very disappointed w/ this deal. I’ve been saving so I could do the whole year sub. Last time I only did 6 mos and kicked myself all year. I guess some of you were expecting this, but I wasn’t! I thought it would be the same deal as last year. I’m HOPING that enough people feel the same as me that they will give us the “BTBF Deal That Should Have Been” for Galentines day… Which is ironically…. 3 months from now. **Hint hint** That being said, I know it’s not Liz’s doing. But I’m hoping she can get us a better deal come Feb. But that’s probably not too likely since there were 700 free gifts and they all sold out within a couple hours. Thanks for everything you do for us Liz! 🙂

I can’t get any of the codes to work so I’m skipping out. I think I’m going to try out some new boxes and spread my $$ around. I cancelled in Sept after 3 years with popsugar and so far haven’t missed anything. I still luv you popsugar though.

I had a 3 month discounted deal that ended with November but I was holding on to my sub waiting for a BTBF deal. I wanted the December box so this 3 month upgrade deal was perfect for me. Now I have another discounted sub until February. Plus, I’ll never turn down bonus gifts. I jumped on this one right away. Thanks for the hard work to get us great deals…but my wallet is even more nervous about the mystery boxes and other deals today!!

Are they still doing the Black Friday deal where new subscribers can get the December box for 50% off?? They’ve done that every year for a few years now, I hope so!

FYI – Before counting on your December box – I hope you caught the fine print;

“You are automatically signed up to receive an earlier month’s box, should it become available. ”

Last I checked they were still touting how they have less than 500 November boxes :/

How do I know if I’m getting the free gifts? My order doesn’t say?

I just created an account and attempted to subscribe, but it only shows the monthly pay-as-you-go option available. I even went to my account page under subscriptions! Am I doing something wrong?

Bummer – only wanted December’s box but since I️ was a previous subscriber I️ can’t use the code. Guess I’ll be saving my money for now as I️ don’t want a three month sub. Not worth it to me to create a new email just to use the code.

@Liz my sub expired at the end of Oct and is now considered “closed”. Is there no option for someone in my situation–where we have an account but are not active subscribers? I tried ordering the Dec box with plans to upgrade for 3 months but the promo code for $5 off won’t work, I guess since I am not a new subscriber?

Will the cyber Monday deal be a boutique sale? I would prefer that if they add new items and I could pick my own. When they do 75% off, it’s the closest thing they have to FFF ad-ons.

This is a let down, but thank you for the tremendous amount of work that must’ve gone into organizing today!

This year I haven’t been able to purchase as much as I have previously, so this is a treat for me. When I try to checkout for the one-time purchase, it still shows $39.95 instead of the price after the 30% discount. Is that how it’s supposed to be?

So, if we use MSABTBF in the upgrade subscription, we get 30% off the 3 months and the free gift comes automatically? Nothing more to do for the free gift? I ordered and didn’t see anything more to do, want to make sure that’s right.

I’m one of the ones spoiled by last year’s deal. I figured I’d bite anyway then I thought about how I haven’t really used a lot of the things in past boxes.

I did the math too…I would have to sign up under a new account since I’m not a current subscriber. So for me it works out to 4 boxes with a total of $118.85 plus tax. So each box will be about $29.71 for me plus tax. While still a good savings, I think I’m going to wait and just try to buy boxes that really catch my eye. Just a few months of not buying will end up saving me in the long run.

It wasn’t as amazing as last year, but I am still happy to get a discount. I really like this subscription, so I am happy to get a few more months at a discount. However I was hoping to lock in a discount for a longer subscription. If we can only use one coupon code per month I sure hope they don’t have a great Cyber Monday sale that we can’t take advantage of.
