I got 005 box and I liked it. I was pleasantly surprised that the mascara was actually a decent size.

For the love of all that is holy, will they stop sending me freaking dry shampoo!!! My hair is literally an inch long.

just got my box today, #013. honestly so much better than my last box, since I don’t wear foundation whatsoever and silicone primers clog my pores. I think the only item I definitely won’t be using is the marc jacobs mascara. it’s quite dry and thick and feels heavy. I’ll just give it to a friend. other than that, I’m excited to dry that tiny philosophy mask, the farmacy moisturizer is so light and hydrating, and the lipstick is actually pretty moisturizing and smooth, and the shade is beautiful. I’m also happy about the dry shampoo since I’m almost out from the ones I got from previous boxes. the perfume is okay, very cloying and sweet. hope next month gets even better!

I got 957 and I’m OK with it, compared to the other boxes, but this was a strange month. I get the feeling they gathered up whatever they had multiples of to make these. If this was supposed to be a “home-spa” type theme, the mascara and lip gloss or red lip doesn’t make any sense. That would have been great for a December holiday box, so I’m surprised they didn’t save those for next month. And a drying charcoal mask makes no sense this time of year, either.
I”m normally not super-picky, but this could have been a great box if it made sense-sheet masks, lip or body scrubs and balms, foot, hand and/or body creams, lash serum. They have access to SO many different products, so a “me-time” bag should have been a no-brainer. Sigh. At least I’m looking forward to the serum.

I think they round up leftovers from their ‘beauty bazaar’. The sizes of the products seem the same as well. I feel like I’ve been paying for the Play Box when I could just as easy (and probably be happier) with redeeming stuff from the 100 point beauty bazaar category.

Ha, I know what you mean and I’m sure you’re right. I keep hoarding my points and I don’t know why. I guess nothing has caught my eye for a while plus I actually don’t purchase as often since I always hope I’ll get a sample to try in my box.

I think that’s why this box frustrated me. I could have actually used some “me-time” samples for my stressed, sleep deprived skin. I wanted soothing and moisturizing and I got charcoal and black mascara that makes my lashes droop 🙁

Butter London has 2 COOL mascaras on their sale section- and any order ships free. The one is clear with gold glitter. The other is a gorgeous blue. On sale for $10. Did’nt know if you’d be interested, but I just saw it and thought i’d pass it on.
