I’ll have to smell the candle before making a decision to keep it or not. Sometimes I like wood scents, other times not so much. Hopefully the “smoky” part is mild – I once got a candle from somewhere that truly smelled like a forest fire – yuck! But I like the robe, and if I don’t like the way the candle smells, it’ll go for swap.

@HappyRebelBox can you tell us if this is fabric is substantial/thick enough to use outside the home? Like as a light wrap type of thing? I know some fabrics like this are pretty thin or aren’t lined or made well, so I wanted to inquire- hope you dont mind. I’m debating on sizing down so its not too loose and “robe-y” like.

Hi Emme! I am not sure the best way to answer your question. The fabric is made out of the same weight crushed velvet fabric as you would see on many tops/dresses/etc. It is a middle weight fabric for clothing, but maybe a lighter weight compared to a typical robe. The robe is not lined. Whether you think that makes it more or less appropriate for wearing outside of the home, I am not sure! There is an internal tie that would probably need to be cut out if you wanted to wear it open, or would be helpful to prevent a wardrobe malfunction if wearing it closed. I think there are a lot of great ideas for dressing it up to wear it out! It’s just all up to your personal style preferences. I hope this helps!

This is shaping up to maybe be the best box ever! What a great compliment to last winter’s box. I can’t wait to sit in my robe, under my throw, burning my new candle (the one from last winter is long gone), drinking from my mug…. treat yo’self indeed! lol. The body butter from last year is all used up too. I am hoping for a mask or something else great for winter skin 🙂
My favorite sub!!! I rarely swap anything from this subscription.

I REALLY want to order this, but I’m worried if I do they’ll end up doing something for Black Friday or your Better than Black Friday. Is there any way to know for sure? Would they honor any kind of coupon/deal if I purchased it now and they had a promotion?

I had to skip this box because I’m too plus sized for the robe. If I was getting it, I’d be happy with the candle, but it’s not making me wish I was still getting it.

I can’t do clothes from a sub box. Never ever. This robe looks on the light side so not sure how well it will work for winter for me. I do love Happy Rebel and D&L candles. This isn’t a scent i would chose but it might be really nice around the holidays.

Oh man, really want that candle but have no use for the robe, even to gift to someone. Candles are hard to swap for because of the heavy shipping. Oh well, better for my budget. :o)

I was just wondering who was going to send me a candle! I cancelled RZ BOS and ordered this. I’d much rather spend my evenings in a velvet robe in front of the fireplace with a fancy candles and a glass of wine, versus wearing big heavy earrings and getting another clutch I will carry once!

I’ve never seen it go on sale. They have had $10 off your first box in the past but I haven’t seen that in quite a while. Last year for Black Friday they had mystery boxes but they sold out very quickly.

This candle is going to kill me, I’m allergic to floral and wood scents.😦 I’ll either swap or give to my sister.
I like this scent for the winter. I swapped away my robe so I am hoping I love the rest of the box. So far so good. 🙂
