This month adds on to the new Halo figure line - Halo Icons - and focused on an in-game enemy, The Flood!
The information sheet is a 17x11, rolled up poster on one side.
And you can find the item details on the back. You'll also find a code for your monthly Req Pack. This month's REQ pack is for Halo 5: Guardians Warzone and Arena multiplayer modes.
Shotgun Pin - Value $5
Each box includes an exclusive pin from the game - this month comes with a shotgun. Some subscribers received a limited edition gold variant as well.
UNSC Data Drop - Value ?
Each month also always arrives with this UNSC data drop top secret folder.
They always include bits and pieces from in-game characters and/or events.
And will include a for-your-eyes-only dossier.
Spartan Exterminators Shirt - Value $15?
I'm liking the direction of this month's shirt - it's much more playful than shirts in past boxes. It plays on what a classic exterminator logo or advertisement might look like for those Halo Spartans.
Halo Icons Flood-Infected Marine Figure - Value $25?
Series 2 of the Icons line continues with a Flood infected marine.
I would say that this definitely captures a lot of the creepiness and weirdness that comes from the Flood.
Like Series 1 - you can display these side-by-side with other figures from the Series 2 line.
Flood Infection Form Plush - Value $15-20?
This month includes a little plush toy with a fun feature, as well.
This is a cool looking parasite - and somehow still cute?
It comes with a velcro mouthpiece. The other side of this velcro circle has adhesive to stick to anything you'd like and make it look like you're on the way to becoming part of the Flood.
Needler Pen Set - Value $15-20?
Hands down, my favorite item is the last one - the Needler pen set!
I have very fond memories of learning about the Needler for the first time when playing with friends a long long time ago - aliens would be left with these pink needles after fighting them off - it was my favorite weapon in the game. So, naturally, I got all the nostalgia when pulling these out - so they win for my favorite item!
Verdict: The Halo Icons figures have been some of the best figures from any Loot Crate - and Series 2 has been kicked off with 2 unique figures, so I like where they're going with it. I also thought the plush was a fun and smart addition - even if my dog did take it directly out of the box before I had a chance to play with it myself! Combine those with a more-humorous shirt and some usable nostalgic pens and I think this month is a winner for me!
