GlossyBox is a monthly beauty subscription box. They have the best packaging in the business, their products are usually deluxe size or full size, and the value is usually good too.

Laqa & Co Cloud Lips Airy Matte Lipstick in DayDream – FULL SIZE! Value $17

I am loving this color! It’s a perfect everyday shade for me. The pigment is rich, the finish is matte, and it’s light on my lips, too.

The lipstick got a little damaged in transit, so I’ll be letting GlossyBox know, but it’s still useable. Here it is swatched:


Tarte Tarteist Brow Gel – FULL SIZE! Value $19

This brow gel goes on clear, and the teeny brush makes it super easy to apply. I’m not too particular when it comes to brow gels, (I’ll generally use whatever sample I have on hand), but this one is one of the best I’ve tried. I like that it tames brows without making them crunchy, sticky, etc.

Kat Von D Saint Perfume – 5 ml Value $6.50

(Subscribers will either receive the Saint or the Sinner perfume mini.)

This is a floral perfume with notes of Vanilla, Musk, and Jasmine. I don’t wear perfume regularly, so these mini perfume bottles are actually the perfect size perfume bottle for me. (Plus they are SO cute!)

Evio Beauty Green Tea Primer – Value $29.95

(Good to know for swaps – this item has an inner foil seal.)

I was expecting a green tea scent with this primer, but I couldn’t detect any smell (which is fine by me). I found this formula to be moisturizing and it gave my skin a perfect base for makeup – I’m a fan!

Nature Queen Shampoo + Conditioner Travel Set – Value $16

This shampoo + conditioner set is ingredient conscious and smells like lemongrass! The sizes (3.4 oz) are good sizes, too!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $88.45. I think this is the best GlossyBox I’ve received in a very long time. Three full-size, quality makeup products, a cute perfume mini, and a generously sized shampoo + conditioner set = impressive!

Hey…just wanted to say this as there is nowhere else to review this company. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Seriously. I think the CS is run by 12 year olds. It’s nothing but canned responses and answers to questions I didn’t ask. I have multiple email chains running trying to get this ridiculous company to renew a gift sub. I’ve never had to work so hard to get a company to take my money. What a joke Glossybox customer service is… I’ve had no problems with Birch, Goodbeing or Ipsy. To put it plainly Glossybox Customer Service SUCKS.


Same here. I messaged to find out where my December box was since I usually get a shipping email. Two days later, I get the shipping email and then the message response from them that my box has been shipped. But, the charge was $23 instead of $21, so I messaged/emailed them again. They told me it was sales tax for California, but this was the very first time I have been charged sales tax. Also, California sales tax is not listed on their site as a state they collect sales tax from.

I cancelled again. They need to get their act together because they aren’t doing the brands they represent any service.


Yessss, Im not the only glossy victim, they owe me 4 noxes, and ignore all!!!! They tell you what you want to hear on phone but where my money??????

Thank you for the number. I called. Not much better to be honest. The answers completely contradicted the answers I received from emails.

They were recently bought out and now nothing in the account back-end works. Also, you’ll notice there are no reviews on their website anymore. They disabled them. Gives you a little insight into this company’s stance on customer service…. Sadly my wife says they have the best box out there so I’m stuck dealing with this terrible company.


I received my box today and never received any tracking info. I ordered November with the half off code on 11/4/17. My box was in perfect condition and I received the Saint perfume, which smells amazing!!! Very happy with this box.


Yay! I’m so excited that you got Saint! I really wanted it too but since you say it smells amazing I may just have to ask my fiance for it for Christmas 💕😉 Sinner smells good too, it has a nice musk undertone too it, but I’m much more into the vanilla and floral notes in Saint 😊 welcome to glossy 🤗💕


I ordered Oct 30th and have yet to get anything. I’m hoping soon. The delux and tiny sizes of sinner and saint can be found on ebay if you don’t want to pay for the full size

On my second month of the $10 deal also and am soooo much happier with the November box than with last month’s box. I will use everything in this box except the perfume (which I don’t wear). Looking forward to seeing what’s in the December box.


Which perfume did you get? I’ve received Sinner twice now from 2 different boxes and I have really wanted to try Saint so badly… If you received Saint & are interested in a swap please please let me know… I’ve got a bunch of stuff that you might be interested in… Thanks for thinking about it! 💓 🤞😊

@Lori – I received Saint. I am open to the idea of a swap but have never swapped before so not sure how to go about doing that?


I don’t want to used make in China makeup/skin care product before. But has to be fair to these beauty boxes PRC product. its good quality. none of them are cheap made. if you think product made in China so bad then think about Koren product too. why you so sure they had none to be shame of??? if you do stick with made in Japan. I’m impress with the product I received are made in China, they are great and good as brand name. (when they are good)


I renewed my sub on Nov. 7 when they were offering a deal. I haven’t received the November box yet. I suspect they ran out of products.


I cancelled my subscription with Glossy Box, because their customer service is terrible. It’s November and I still have not received my October box. They have done nothing to rectify the situation.


Me too. I signed up un Oct and haven’t received either box yet. After a bunch of unanswered or generic emails I called their customer service number 1-801-252-4631. They messaged me a form for me to print, fill out, hand sign, take a picture of it and send it to them under my account. Did that, called the next day and they told me that a replacement box should arrive shortly but it won’t be the original October box. Boo because I really wanted to try the Lue and Rituals! I hope this helps-


Same here. I subscribed in October and ordered that and the CEW box. The site finally said they shipped, but I’ve gotten no tracking number or help from CS. No inkling of my November box existing either. I’m going to cancel, but not letting them off the hook.


I finally received mine last week without getting an email with any shipping info.


I’m having the same problem and it’s very frustrating. I can’t even find verification of my Nov box in my account


I’m so disappointed. I’ve been an annual subscriber to Glossybox for a number of years now, and have always paid the full price for each box I’ve received. I’m still waiting for my November box. The box is not even listed on my account as being sent, but all of the items I should be receiving are listed for my review. I’ve tried to contact customer support twice now, and have not received any response to date. Any ideas from any friends here on how to best proceed? Thanks in advance.


So I’m getting worried because I signed up with the code tablet October 30th and I still haven’t received my Oct box. I’m seeing scary stuff on their facebook page with people having the same problem, even people sayimg that their code was revoked and the only response that I’m getting from glossybox is that they’re having growing pains with changing their website. I don’t even see my orders in my account.


I got the same variation but with the Sinner perfume. And I love the Saint and hate the Sinner. 😀 My luck. Actually the products seem nice but not for me in this box. Everything is listed for swap. I don’t know why but with Glossybox I receive products I don’t like more frequently than with Birchbox, Ipsy, Sephora or Allure.


Got same box but didn’t try everything out yet. My lipstick was in perfect condition BUT I didn’t get my parfume sample and they are suppose to send me one. This is second month in a row that I am missing an item…one more month and I will decide if I decide to

My lipstick was broken off too. Too much of a hassle to contact GB. I have enough lipstick 🙂 but definitely seems to be a widespread problem!


I got the same box and had the same damaged lipstick. When I opened mine, the actual product flew out onto the floor and got so dirty it’s unusable.

I contacted glossybox and hope they send a new one ASAP. It looks like a really lovely fall color.

I’m very happy with this months box especially the shampoo and conditioner!


Lipstick made in PRC the same quality as a dollar store item. So disappointed!!


A lot of items are made in China that doesn’t make them “Dollar Store” quality.


Pretty much everything is made in China these days, I am surprised to see these comments.
I know many people feel strongly about animal testing, but that has nothing to do with quality.

I still have not received my October box, and I haven’t received tracking information for my November box. I contacted Glosssy Box a few days ago, and they still have not resolved my issue. The $10.00 box promotion, has not been worth the hassle. Glossy Box should be better than this.


My box was in good order and i love most of my items. The lip color is the same color as my lips and its perfect for me. In my boxy i got the super dark color which i sorta like (its growing on me more every day) and my tubes look identical


My lipstick came with the top off and the lipstick was broken off. It also got all over everything in the box. I send Glossybox a message a couple of days ago and I haven’t gotten a reply yet.

Same!! Mine was broken and I emaield them. They responded a few days later and asked me for pictures of it and the box (which I threw out). I have to reply tonight or tomorrow, but clearly something is happening with the poor brand quality.

I have been so happy recently with my GlossyBox monthly boxes. I must say that never in a million years would I ever have tried “Saint” from KVD, but I Love it. I really get happy when a box exposes me to a new product that I will run out to buy.


The lipstick is a beautiful color but feels really dry on my lips and it flaked pretty badly after only a short time. I’m hoping it just because of the gloss I put over it.

I don’t wear perfume but otherwise a decent box for discount price.

Anyone with issues about boxycharm’s storm being too dark. Try dabbing it on lightly or using a brush to get more of a stain. It’s a beautiful berry color if you use a light touch.


My lipstick came with the lid off and smeared a bit onto the tissue paper but to be honest it still works fine so I decided not to email them.

I loved this box! I will use everything but the Sinner perfume and I think that will swap well. It is a winner box for me this month!


I received two shampoos instead of the shampoo/conditioner duo. I emailed customer service two days ago and have not heard from them yet. Glossybox usually requires a photo and I am probably the last person on earth that doesn’t have a cell phone or a camera.


You can’t email them anymore you have to contact them through their website and be logged into your account.


Do you have a laptop with a web cam they snap pics too?


I don’t have a web cam (the most recent photo I have of myself is my 1999 state ID card photo). That really sounds strange in this time of “selfies”.


This is the best glossybox I’ve received. I’m happy with all the products and the beautiful box! So worth the $10 I spent! I love the LE box itself, and will use a couple of things but after this November box I had much higher expectations for the LE. But I will be okay with so I’m not going to cancel. Hopefully the December is a hit! It will be the last in the $10 a box offer they had in October. It’s always worth $10!


I’m very happy with the first two of the 3 months at $10 each also!

My lipstick wasn’t damaged. (A real relief to me!) I love the color too. Such a useful everyday shade! The one I got in my boxycharm box was SO dark!!! Still love boxy though. 🙂

I also thought this was a great box from Glossybox, the lipstick shade was great. I’ve tried the primer, shampoo & conditioner, and the brow gel. I have long hair so typical tiny shampoos and conditioners are always too small for me to know if I’d like it. So far so good with Nature Queen.


I received the same box, which I’m happy with. My lipstick, and my daughters lipstick were also damaged during shipping. Mine just a bit, hers was completely out of the tube, laying in the grass paper. She didn’t seem to care, she’s 18, the color’s perfect for me, her not so much. I’m glad I got saint, sinner is not my style at all. Thanks for the review!
