  1. I got the same email about them overselling August. I ordered two and a refund just doesn’t cut it because I would have spent that money on another cyber Monday deal had I known. I reached out to customer service and they offered nothing else. Completely unacceptable in my opinion. No longer recommending this sub to friends and family! Lesson learned

    • They held my money for over a week before I got that email. Also got the same email from customer service when I emailed them. It seems within the first day they should have known they oversold. I also find it interesting msa hasn’t made a post about it either. I wish there was a complaint we could file against PopSugar for poor business ethics. I would have done other deals with other companies with that money.

      • I’m surprised MSA dididn’t post about this issue too. I still haven’t been refunded and a week is way too long to wait to notify customers without refund! We shouldn’t have to complain, they should just automatically make it right to paying customers!

  2. I just got this email:

    Thank you for taking part in our Cyber Monday sale. We wanted to inform you that unfortunately our system allowed us to oversell the August Must Have box and we do not have any additional boxes in stock. Because of this error, we will be issuing you a refund for your purchase by December 6th. Rest assured, this will not affect the discount you received on any other boxes you purchased during the Cyber Monday sale. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, but we do hope that you enjoy the rest of your boxes.

    • Same. I’m pretty upset because I was gifting 90% off that box (it was the only one I got) so now I’ll have to figure out other options, try to find them elsewhere and pay a lot more or try to get lucky swapping less than 3 weeks out from Christmas. Given the time of year and all the holiday stress a refund doesn’t cut it.

      • I have had it with these companies claiming that they are so sorry but they oversold, so they will give you a refund when they get around to it. If their inventory control is so abysmal they shouldn’t sell anything. That’s it — I’m over popsugar. The ONE box they shipped will be returned == and if they tell me I can’t return it, I will send them an email “I’m so sorry, but I overordered, so I am returning the item to you.”

    • I got the same email! What’s the point of extending a sale to only over sell? In the high technology world we live in, how can this even be possible? Simply set your order system to only sell what orders you can fill. Sounds to easy right? I ordered several boxes for gifts. Now what? I am so sick of this company!

      • AND OF COURSE, the August box is not for sale anywhere else. It is sold out on Gilt City and none listed on ebay or the swap site when I checked after I got the email. The only thing I was keeping for myself from the box would have been the meri meri candles and my husband would probably eat the cookies lol. Now on the hunt for several replacement items and I just thought I was done with my holiday shopping! smh

  4. Someone talk to me about these tracking numbers that cannot be verified through any site other than their own. Way to control what we see. I wonder if they did this to stop people from complaining about their boxes touring the entire countryside before reaching them. I would have hoped they all shipped together too. I need to keep an eye on my post office with packages, which ultimately is impossible now with this new system.

  5. I got just tracking notices separately for all four of the boxes I ordered. They are weird numbers though….not like any tracking I have seen for the major carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL)

    • The September boxes are coming from CA and the October boxes from NY.

    • I got a shipping notice for my October and September, still waiting on august..

  6. Wow, I already got a tracking number for the October box I ordered under this deal. Way to go Popsugar! That was really impressive from them! Just FYI, I never received any confirmation emails on any of the deals I bought over the weekend. 1 30% off Dec box, 1 Sub, 1 3 month upgrade, and 5 50% off boxes…

    • Me too! This never happens this quickly with my PS orders! AWESOME.

  7. Has anyone gotten a confirmation email from PS yet? I ordered September, October, and November (because I genuinely love that box!) on Monday and haven’t gotten anything, but it did charge to my bank. I haven’t gotten emails for stuff from them in the past, so I’m just curious if that’s the typical MO.

    I’m also kind of kicking myself for not having this shipped back home, since I plan on gifting a few items and I’m probably heading home for the holidays around the 16th, and I know how their shipping can be.

    • I would check your Popsugar account under orders, if it’s not there I would contact them.

  13. I’m glad October sold out so I won’t be tempted to get more stuff that I don’t need. It was a great box if anyone is getting it for the first time. At some point I have to show restraint instead of collecting twenty similar items that I end up donating then tackle my credit card.

    • I ordered 2 August and 1 October box yesterday, and was tempted to order another set, but thankfully temptation has been taken away!

  15. I thought… hmmm 60 bucks for 3 boxes and can use some items for stocking stuffers for Christmas and I don’t have to brave the mall. Yes please.

  16. I’m so proud of myself for not getting anything this time. This is a great deal but nothing in those boxes that is a must have for me. I’m the type of person that more is more, but I eventually get to the point of becoming smarter with my money.

  17. Since September had not sold out yet, I went for it. I’m not surprised October sold out, I loved that box, the pillow and throw look great on my sofa. I even used the Framebridge gift card and they did a great job framing some note cards for me.

  18. I was ready to order a few but October is sold out, so no deal for me. So, I’ll just be saving my $$$.
