EarFleek Boho Babe October 2017 info card

There's an info card from your stylist, urging you to share your new look with the hashtag #earfleek.

rose temporary tattoos

Each pair of earrings also comes with a temporary tattoo that coincides with the theme you choose. I received these roses with peacock feathers this time around.

earrings in plastic pouch

Instead of coming on a card, the earrings are packed in a plastic resealable pouch and stuck into a rubbery tube to keep them from poking out of the envelope.

Rose Gold Butterfly Earrings

Similar to last month's owl earrings, these looked gold at first but are actually a rose gold color. These are also quite similar in style to the penguin earrings I received in my "Minimal, but Groovy" variation this month (review coming soon!). I'd say these fit the "Boho Babe" theme seeing as though butterflies are sort of bohemian. The fluttery butterflies dangle off of a rhinestone stud and are itsy bitsy at less than a half inch tall. There is also a tiny rhinestone where the head of the butterfly is.

Here they are in my 'lobes so you can see the size. They don't really suit my taste, so I will be passing them on to someone who can appreciate them more.

Verdict: EarFleek is only $3.49 per month (or only $1.75 if you use our MSA50 50% off code!). You're always taking a gamble on which earrings you'll receive, but they're always nickel-free and the quality has been good!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Since Earfleek is random, you may not receive the same pair as I did.

Dawn

I’m finally going to do this for my daughter. See what happens.

My minimalist but groovy earrings were Christmas themed, I think. One was a gold triagle with a tiny pearl at the bottom and the other (non-matching) was a gold circle with a tiny pearl at the bottom. My guess is a Christmas tree and wreath? Cute but I am a firm believer in Christmas-doesn’t-start-until-after-Thanksgiving! So I won’t be wearing these yet.

Dawn

Oh no… I hope I don’t get mismatched…

It seems to me after seeing various reviews that all their earrings are tiny and I find that disappointing because I like bigger earrings like big hoops, etc

I just signed up…I figure with the 50% off I can’t go wrong!

My mom got gold elephants covered with garish blobs of bright pink enamel as her “boho” pick. She also didn’t get a tattoo this month. She got a hair elastic – – the really cheap kind I’ve seen at the dollar store in packs of 50.

Marne

Whoa, a hair elastic? That’s a new one. Thanks for sharing!

I got a hair elastic too.

Ragan

I don’t remember with this one, do they say what the posts are made of? (“Hypoallergenic” is a little too generic to cut it for a lot of people with metal sensitivities. “Nickel free” is a good start.) I know rose gold has up to 25% copper to give it the reddish color, which could definitely cause a reaction in some people or cause your ears to turn green.

Honestly, with something this inexpensive, I’d probably just coat the posts with clear nail polish before wearing, which I can usually get like a day out of before I have to reapply.

Hey Ragan! They do say that their earrings are nickel-free, but that’s as far as they say.

Michelle

I don’t get a BOHO vibe from these at all.

And if there’s anything that the model pictured on the card ISN’T, it’s Boho.

Marne

Yea- the model on the card is always the same with all three versions.
