Cat Lady Box is a monthly subscription box for cat ladies (or anyone who is crazy about cats)! The Cat Lady Box has 2-3 cat-themed items – wearables, items for the home, books, etc. The Crazy Cat Lady Box contains everything from the Cat Lady Box, plus a few items just for cats.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This review is for the Crazy Cat Lady box ($39.99 per month).

I love how the information cards have custom artwork every month. And the back has more information about the items in the box.

There was also a flyer for an upcoming members-only sale of items from past boxes.

Note: Pretty much every item in this box is exclusive so I have taken the values from the information card.

Cat Lady Box November 2017 Bowl

Cat Decorative Wire Bowl – Listed Value $23.99

I think this is really nice. Someday I will find something (pinecones? wicker balls? perhaps something the cats won’t want to bat around?) to put in it and then I will set it in the center of the dining room table (once I remove all the subscription boxes that are piling up as I recuperate from surgery). This color goes very well with our overall decorating scheme and it doesn’t scream “cats” but still adds that nice little kitty touch.

Cat Cutout Convertible Tote and Clutch Bag – Listed Value $29.99

Here is another item that really suits me. This is a bit smaller than the purses I normally carry but I am trying to make do with a smaller bag for now since I am not supposed to lift anything over 10 pounds for awhile yet (sadly, that lifting limit includes most, if not all, of my cats). This appears to be well-made and I honestly think they could’ve gotten away with listing a higher value on the information card. There was no plastic or chemical smell, either.

Cat Lady Box November 2017 Socks

Kitty Cat Collage Socks – Listed Value $9.99

I am spending a lot of time these days lounging around the house in robes, sweatpants, nightgowns, and socks. So these are also appreciated. They fit me pretty well now that my ankles are no longer swollen from all the IV fluids that got pumped into me in the hospital last week! I have size 7 feet, though, and wouldn’t want to speculate about what shoe sizes might or might not be able to wear these.

Cat Lady Box November 2017 Pinecone

Purrfect Pinecone Catnip Toy – Listed Value $5.99

Mostly, my cats wanted to rub their chins on this catnip plush. I think they enjoyed the texture up and down the sides. (Most of my cats are seniors and not super playful, although they seem quite interested in new textures lately. But they seem to take great joy in chin rubbing.)

Cat Lady Box November 2017 Pumpkin

Argyle Pumpkin Catnip Toy – Listed Value $4.99

This is another catnip plush; it’s on the smaller side. Angus started batting this around (it’s a perfect size for that) immediately after I put the camera away. Naturally.

Here are your cat photos…

Cat Lady Box November 2017 Sneaky

The older cats were sleepy when I tried to take pictures.

Cat Lady Box November 2017 Angus

But this perfectly captures Angus’s personality. That boy simply does not understand how to climb the cat tower, so he takes running leaps and ends up hanging off like this EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $75 for the November 2017 (Crazy) Cat Lady Box. Although the values are from the information card, that seems reasonable to me. Everything was tasteful and nothing felt cheap, and the overall aesthetic of the items in the box was right up my alley. This is actually one of my favorite Cat Lady Boxes from the past few months.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Orders have to be placed by the 22nd of the previous month. So if you sign up today, you'll receive the December box.

I’ve had to cancel my subscription boxes due to finances, and I think CatLadyBox is the one I’m most sorry about – it’s always delightfully curated with high-quality, unique items. I’ve taken the bag out a couple of times and it’s great – it holds a lot, you can use it with the strap or as a clutch, and the cat theme is subtle.

First, best wishes for a speedy and uncomplicated recovery. Second, you’re right about the bag, which is incredibly well made and could easily retail higher. Did you notice that the cat head cut-out handle is the magnetized closure? It also fits the hand well and the bag looks darling folded over into a clutch. That it came with a storage bag is a plus, too. It’s pretty much the purrfect evening bag for us chic cat ladies. 😉

Poor Angus! Those cat muscles tho!

Ragan

Angus is *so* muscular compared to my others. Of course, he is 1.5 years old and eats like a horse. The others are much older and, except for Monkey, a little chunky (or in the case of Mr. Kitty, a lot chunky), so it’s even more striking to see them together.

You could also use the bowls too throw their cat toys in and keep them in one place…I love these reviews and can’t wait for cat pictures.
Hope you’re feeling better soon

I love the bowl. Does it come in its own box? Thanks for the review, Ragan. I always like seeing photos of your cats.

Angus made my day!! The picture and his position was so funny!!! Gotta love kitties (I have 14 and 4 dogs).

I filled the bowl with tomatoes and put it on the dining room table next to the wire bowl that hold our fruit. Not very imaginative, I know, but it’s useful and looks nice.

Even though I don’t have any cats right now (my two seniors are gone now and we currently have a new dog that I wouldn’t trust with a kitty) I am a serious cat person and I adore this box. I would sub to it if they had a great black Friday deal.

Hope you are feeling better Ragan and recuperating quickly!

That wire bowl is way cute and I see it in their shop. I don’t sub this one but if they do any codes on BF I may be tempted to do a one-time purchase.

I second that. I hope they do a discount in their shop.
