Now, on to the items!
The Positivity Kit by Lisa Currie – Retail Value $15 (On Amazon for $11.53)
This is an interactive book designed to help you reflect on things in your life that are awesome. AKA – a fun new way to do a gratitude journal!
I most definitely have a favorite mug, and a naming ceremony is in order!
I wasn’t sure what to make of this book before I opened it, but I love that it is silly, fun, but also helps you recognize the little things that make your day better. And the illustrations are great, too!
Que Bottle – Value $24.95
This compact bottle expands to hold 20 ounces!
It has a stainless steel wide mouth that fits ice cubes and a matching twist off cap. And it’s BPA-free and dishwasher safe!
Also, it’s just fun to play with!
Opealia Sriracha Green Pea Cookies – 3 Pack Value Listed $2
These are spicy, savory cookies! (They’re made with dairy-free and vegan, too.)
They are made with wheat, so I couldn’t try them, but I’m a mild-salsa-only kind of girl, so I don’t think we would have been a good match even if they were gluten-free. (I like the idea of pairing a savory cookie with a glass of wine, though!)
Bamboo AromaPen Personal Diffuser – Value $15
This is a pen with a little aromatherapy on the end!
The white part is the micro-fiber absorbing rod that absorbs the essential oils of your choosing. (You get 6 of these rods with the pen. Value $3.)
It took me a few tries to open this pen correctly, but now it’s good to go! Here is a closer look at the top of the pen where the essential oils diffuse from:
And each box comes with Bombay & Cedar essential oils.
Bombay & Cedar Tea Tree Essential Oil – 10 ml Value Listed $12
This oil is 100% pure organic essential oil.
Bombay & Cedar Rose Absolute Essential Oil – 10 ml Value Listed $19
This essential oil is rose absolute (3%) in jojoba essential oil.
Evio Beauty Green Tea Primer – Value $29.95 for one (FYI – Bombay & Cedar sent everyone who shared their box on social media a bonus item this month, and mine is an extra primer. I won’t count this toward the total box value, though.
(Good to know for swaps – this item has an inner foil seal.)
I was expecting a green tea scent with this primer, but I couldn’t detect any smell (which is fine by me). I found this formula to be moisturizing and it gave my skin a perfect base for makeup – I’m a fan!
LM Organics Facial Steam – Value $10
This is made with a blend of calendula flower, chamomile flower, comfrey leaf, rose petals, lavender buds, rose absolute, and essential oil of lavender.
To use this, you pour steaming water into a bowl, add this mix, then lean over the bowl with a towel draped over your head for 5-10 minutes. If you’re not feeling that, you can also but this mix in a muslin cloth bag and add it to your bath for a relaxing bath experience!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $130.45! That’s great for a $56.90 box that focuses on quality-ingredient items. There were a lot of practical items that still felt special, and everything was so thoughtfully curated – this would make a great gift, too!
