Hip Peas Baby Brush – Retail Value $6.99
Hip Peas is a great brand of children’s hair care so I was excited to see them included in this box!
This baby brush has a natural wooden handle and cruelty-free bristles.
Balm! Baby Mad Rash Diaper Balm with Zinc – 2 fl oz, Retail Value $12.95
This is a multi-purpose 1st aid balm that can be used on just about anything… rashes, burns, cuts, dry skin, etc. I love products like this because they’re so versatile and handy. It smells great (chamomile, lavender, tea tree, and orange!) and I love that the jar it’s in is glass.
Honest Company Organic Nipple Balm – 1.8 oz, Retail Value $13.95
As a nursing mom, one thing I definitely feel is important to keep organic/natural is nipple balms. They’re such a helpful product but it’s something your baby will basically directly consume.
I like Honest’s formula – it smells good and is effective.
Tucks Medicated Cooling Pads with Witch Hazel – 100 count, Retail Value $7.68
These moistened rounds are so helpful post-partum. Yes, they’re designed for soothing itching/pain from hemorrhoids but they also are effective for any stitches or tears you may have after delivery.
I normally take home a bunch of packs from the hospital, but this is a nice, practical inclusion, I think.
Café Baby Mommy’s Milk Lactation Cookie – Total Estimated Value $4
Lactation cookies are a brilliant thing. Well, cookies in general are. These are chocolate chip cookies with ingredients that provide whole grains, amino acids, omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and iron to boost milk production. These were tasty, too!
Wubbanub Infant Pacifier Elephant – Retail Value $13.95
I discovered Wubbanubs with my first baby and I really love them. They may look a little silly (your baby has a tiny beanie-baby-esque animal attached to his pacifier), but they keep pacifiers in place. Especially helpful when sleeping or in the car seat because if the baby loses suction or tongues the pacifier out of his mouth it’s still close by and they can often just re-latch.
Even without re-latching, the pacifier doesn’t just fall and bounce around and get lost! It’s so easy to find these pacifiers in your bag or in their lap in the car seat (especially if you *happen* to be doing some crazy contortionist positions to reach behind your own driver’s seat and put the pacifier back in your newborn’s mouth…. Not that I have personal experience with that or anything). They’re expensive for pacifiers but they’re worth it, in my opinion.
Disposable nursing pads are another super practical inclusion! Definitely handy to have a big box like this on hand. I know a lot of moms that like to use fabric or re-usable nursing pads but I love the convenience of the disposable ones, especially if you’re out and about.
Aden by Aden & Anais Swaddle Blanket – Retail Value $13?
So, I don’t really know how to price this out because I think it came from a four-pack. Aden & Anais’s individually sold swaddles are priced at $16 but they’re 47”x47” and this one is 44”x44”. Either way, this is a great brand to see in a mom/baby subscription box. They’re well-known and good quality.
This monkey print is cute, too!
The Verdict: This Baby Got Pack newborn box is a really great curation of some of my favorite baby items! I loved seeing that they included products and brands I already love. There was a really nice combination of practical post-partum things and good quality baby essentials. The value adds up to $78.49, which I’m happy with!
