Coupons are usually included in SnackSack boxes so I was excited to see how many were featured this month. All are for brands that you will find your box this month as well which is great!
Also, a fun sticker and the branded tote bag with a game day pin!
Nutiva O'Coconut Classic, 5 oz. (buy a box of 24 for $16.49)
This little cookie was so soft, like a freshly baked cookie! It had a light sweetness to it and an overall flakey coconut texture. Even though I don't love coconut, I did enjoy the overall sweetness of this delightfully soft baked cookie!
Kind: Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt, 1.4 oz. (buy a pack of 4 for $5.48)
I absolutely love Kind bars, always a nice treat to find in a box! This bar is packed full of energy providing nuts that also create a wonderful crunch and texture. The dark chocolate is that perfect bittersweetness, and the sea salt is just a whole other layer to this flavorful bar. I think the great thing about Kind bars is that you really can use them as a quick filler between meals and they give you so much energy!
Hubs Virginia Peanuts: Power Pack, 1 oz. - (buy a box of 20 for $21.95)
Peanuts are packed full of protein and nutrients that can help lower cholesterol and provide you with a ton of energy! This little packet is a single serving size so you know you are getting the right amount. They are lightly salted and are made in Virginia! I love peanuts prepared like this, but I can totally go nuts and eat way more than I should. So I loved that this comes in an energy providing size. I was able to toss this in my bag to eat on the go, so filling too!
MySuperCookies: Blueberry Vanilla Heroes, 1 oz. (buy a variety box of 24 for $14.99)
These whole grain cookies are made with coconut oil and chia seeds. I would say these are the healthy version of an animal cracker. They were the perfect size and have these adorable hero characters on each cookie. The flavors for this bag were outstanding! The blueberry was so prominent, like eating a blueberry muffin, with a light sweetness from the vanilla. My son could not get enough of this flavor!
MySuperCookies: Chocolate Heroes, 1 oz. (buy a variety box of 24 for $14.99)
The next super cookie we have is their chocolate flavor! It is hard to tell that these are good for you because they are so delicious! The chocolate is the perfect amount of sweet with a little crunch and crumble. My son didn't love this flavor as much as I thought he would, but I really loved them and ate the whole bag happily!
MySuperCookies: Honey Heroes, 1 oz. (buy a variety box of 24 for $14.99)
Our third super cookie is the honey flavor which tastes so much like a graham cracker! I could see these being so good on a dessert. This was another snack that my son loved! I really like when boxes provide snacks that I can enjoy with my whole family and it introduces us to healthier brands that I now know we will all enjoy!
You Love Fruit: Passion Fruit Punch, 1 oz. (buy a pack of 4 for $13.79)
This little pack is a handmade dried fruit leather. For anyone not familiar with dried fruit leather, it basically tastes like a fresh version of a fruit roll-up. Nothing artificial here, you know you are getting the best of the best in terms of fresh ingredients and a handmade touch! I really loved the passion fruit punch flavor of this packet, it was fruity and sweet, but again it all tasted so natural. This is another snack that I know I can enjoy and share with my son.
Fruit Bliss Mini Figs, 1.76 oz. (buy a 5 oz. bag for $4.49)
These Turkish figs are certified organic and are infused with a touch of water to give them that soft, juicy flavor. I was surprised by how large each fig was in the bag, you really get a lot! The fig itself really is sweet and extra juicy. I have never had a fig prepared this way, but it was very unique and delicious. They do have a lot of seeds in them still so that was one thing that I didn't love about it because the seeds for me changed the overall texture.
Angie's Boom Chicka Pop Sea Salt Popcorn, 0.6 oz. (buy a 4.8 oz. bag for $3.00)
I mean, you can never go wrong with a bag of popcorn! This brand provides gluten-free and whole grain popcorn that makes snacking fun and healthy, but you wouldn't know that you were eating something good for you. The popcorn has that perfect amount of salt and was oh so flavorful. I ate this whole bag, guilt-free!
Hannah Max Cookie Chips: Sea Salted Caramel, 1.5 oz. (buy a 5 oz. bag for $3.49)
These cookie chips were SO good! I normally don't love a super thin cookie, but these provided a really nice crunch that I thoroughly enjoyed. Not to mention that they are super rich and creamy with an incredible caramel flavor. I mean it, you are hit with caramel creaminess from start to finish. The sea salt isn't overpowering, it more so cuts through the sweetness of the caramel making it so savory. I can't say enough about these, I want more!
Ally's Bar: Sweet Potato with Apple Carrot Ginger, 2.12 oz. (buy a box of 12 for $12.00)
This bar was so big and packed full of so many ingredients that it was extra filling! Overall, I am not the biggest fan of ginger, I find the flavor to be very overpowering. I really wanted to love this bar because sweet potato and apple carrot are some of my favorite flavors, but the ginger in this is so apparent. Once you get through the strong ginger flavors you do get a really nice layer of the sweet potato and apple carrot that provides a savory treat. I did receive a coupon code for Ally's Bar so I might try a new flavor so that I can still try the brand because I know I would eat these bars a ton if the flavor is right!
Nature's Bakery: Honey & Oat Strawberry, 1.3 oz. (buy a pack of 6 for $28.83)
Oh, this little cookie oat bar was so good! A soft-baked oat bar that tastes like a freshly baked cookie. Sweetened with a touch of honey and packed full of fresh strawberry jam. I warmed these up a bit and enjoyed them with a cup of coffee, which is how I would recommend eating them. The best part, these are relatively healthy for you and are the perfect pack of two to enjoy as an afternoon sweet snack.
Vegan Rob's Turmeric Chips, 1.5 oz. - (buy a box of 24 for $39.23)
I love turmeric and it is super healthy for you! Sometimes a turmeric spice on chips or other snacks can taste artificial or too powdery but not these! The chips are similar to a crinkle chip but thicker so they are packed with a ton of crunch. The turmeric spice is really the star here. Such a delicious and flavorful snack.
Nature's Bakery: Brownie Salted Caramel, 1.3 oz. (buy a box of 6 for $5.94)
I thought I loved the first Nature's Bakery bar, and then I found this one in the box. Way too delicious to be healthy! The brownie is so soft, almost like a fresh out of the oven brownie. The chocolate flavors have that perfect mix of bitterness and sweetness that I love in a dark chocolate. The salted caramel is savory goodness with that chewy caramel taste and texture. This one goes in my must buy more now column!
Verdict: This was my first time receiving SnackSack and I was really impressed with it. Each snack that you receive is usually a larger size so you are really left with so much to snack on. I loved receiving the SnackSack tote bag which I know I will be using at the grocery store. Buying healthier snacks can, unfortunately, be more expensive if you are shopping at the store. SnackSack is $22 a month which brings a value of $1.47 per item for the 15 total snacks that I received. If you consider how much you would spend on these at the store or to buy in bulk, the value is absolutely there for this box! I really enjoyed receiving so many different brands as well that I was able to try and test with my family to see if they are something I should be buying more of! Providing healthy snacks for my family is super important to me so I loved that I could get a taste of what they might like through SnackSack!
