Mighty Fix October 2017

Each box includes an info card telling you about the featured item and how what they chose to send you helps your house be “greener”! This month’s featured items are two durable tempered glass food storage containers with two hummus recipes on the back of the card.

Mighty Fix October 2017

Square Bowl with Blue Lid - Value $5.75 (buy a set of 6 for $34.50)

This small glass storage container is made in France. It’s durable, shock resistant, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, freezer safe, and BPA free. I own a lot of Tupperware and Glad containers so it’s nice to have a set of durable tempered glass storage dishes.

Mighty Fix October 2017

A small square storage container to store dip or condiments. It measures at 5.375 ounces and 3.5” inches and is hot and cold resistant.

Mighty Fix October 2017

A tight-fitting lid that’s stackable and BPA free.

Rectangle Bowl with Lid - Value $6.00

This sturdy rectangular dish with lid is dishwasher safe, microwave safe, freezer safe, thermal shock resistant, and hygienic non-porous glass. I can use this to store leftovers for my lunch. These will last longer and not stain like my Glad containers.

Mighty Fix October 2017

This sturdy rectangular bowl measures at 13 ounces and 5 7/8” inches. The bowl is hot and cold resistant and can store bite-sized snacks and cut-up veggies.

Mighty Fix October 2017

A sturdy lid that’s stackable and BPA free.

Verdict: This was a useful Mighty Fix and the value of the two dishes are $11.75. This is a little above the cost of the $10.00 subscription. I was excited to receive glass storage containers, I was in need of them. They are the right size for snacks and storing my lunch for work. The design is typical of most containers, it’s sturdy, stackable, and will fit easily in my lunch bag.

I got those a few moths back. I can’t wait to see what I am getting this month. I have not been disappointed yet.

I received these two bowls and I love them. I only use glass storage bowls, mostly pyrex, but these two little bowls are used the most. Perfect for small berries for my yogurt or that little bit of sauce that you don’t want to throw out but it seems not enough to save. I want to order more but they cost a bit more than the pyrex sets.
And when you buy an annual to this sub it works out to be just $8 a month. I’m still in my first year. Has anyone subbed longer than a year? Have you ever received a duplicate?

Kristen

I am at the end of my second year and I have never received a duplicate.
