I need this dang it! Take note subscription boxes! Inclusion of plus sizes items will bring you MORE customers!!

This robe is not for me, but I think it’ll be hard for Happy Rebel to match last year’s winter box. I am skipping this box unless another spoiler causes me to renew, but the fact that I can do this is one of the reasons I love this subscription.

Agree! I really wanted to see a winter box like the last year’s. I missed it but just purchased the blanket from the Happy Rebel Box website after the box sold out. That last year’s winter box made me sign up with Happy Rebel Box. It was amazing! I don’t wear robes so I skipped this one, but if I see any cool items that I think is worth a box, I might cancel the skip 😉

I want to try this box. I wish they offered coupons for newbies!

I see Happy Rebel customer service is responding to comments so I’ll leave mine here.

Do you have a picture of this robe on a human?

Thank you!

mimi

I have 3 robes already. Do I need a 4th? No. Do I want this one? Yes.

Tamara

I was psyched to see the plus size inclusion, but then I saw that the measurement of the 3X shows that it won’t actually fit me.

Well dammit. “Rebels Relax” sounded pretty awesome. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Leslie

I was excited to see the size inclusion too! Until I saw the measurements, UGH! I don’t think anyone beyond a size 10/12 is going to fit even the 3x.

mimiretz

Remember, it’s a back measurement, armpit to armpit, not all-around. I wear a size 18/20 and ordered the 2X which measures a little big on me, but (a) I like looser robes and (b) am zoftig so I figured extra room around the chest would be good.

Tamara

You have to double the measurement to get the measurement all the way around (I presume – that’s the way it’s usually done.) So the chest would be 53″, which does qualify as plus size. Probably about a size 22.

Barbara

It looks like the measurements is only for the back of the robe….

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

Yes, but that gives me the chest measurement, which is too small for me. 🙁

HD

Can anyone give me some info on usual quality of items in this box? I’m on the fence about the robe because cheap velvet is UGH, but if it’s high quality I’m so down. I love the extended sizes.

Evelyn

All the items that I have gotten from happy rebel have been pretty luxe. The wool blanket from last winter is not itchy at all and honestly one of my favorite throws.

I can’t figure out how to customize the size. Last box, I think we could customize the wall adapter thing, but I couldn’t figure out how to do that. I didn’t care about the color so I didn’t look into it further. Since I do care about the size, can someone tell me how to do this? Do you get an e-mail with a link? Is there a special place in the account area where we can customize?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Kathryn Dayley

I got an email with the link. But their customer service is the best I have ever seen so if you don’t get the link you can email them. Hope that helps!

Karen Snyder

Agreed! Top notch customer servive.

CK

Thank you! I also totally agree about their customer service. They’re great!

@HappyRebelBox

Hi CK! All of our members were emailed this morning with a link to choose their size. If you need any assistance, just shoot us an email.

CK

Thanks so much! I guess I should have scrolled down a bit further on that e-mail I got. I got distracted by the pretty robe! 🙂

AmyM

This is beautiful! I can see wearing it for lounging and out in public with jeans and kiiller boots. As George Costanza once said: If it were socially acceptable, I would drape myself in velvet. 😉 Love that it’s a sized item with a FULL range of sizes. Other boxes, take note!

Jenny

THANK YOU for offering plus sizes! I’m in shock that there are so many sizes available! More non-“plus size” sub boxes need to be more size inclusive!

Best winter box spoiler so far. Love it. And love that they always do inclusive sizing. I’ve missed out on some good stuff this year because I’ve been tighter on money, this I can’t miss though.

TK

Very impressed with the size offerings!!! Even robes are not “one size fits all”. The kimono/robe in the BOS was beautiful but not practical when it only fit people sizes 8-14. I’m a 0/2 and it was way too big. This robe is pretty and tempting.

Reply ButtonReply

amyr

I am 5’1″ and a size 4 and the robe in Rachel BOS was sooooo large! I could literally wrap it around myself 2 times and the length on me was very long. I liked it though.

I wonder what the length is on this robe.

Reply ButtonReply

Connie

Very excited for the robe. Nice to throw on to take the chill off. Based on this spoiler the box is already a win for me.

Reply ButtonReply

Helen

Oh dear, this is so not me. It looks as though I’ll have to skip – again! Happy Rebel will probably boot me out for skipping too many times. 😶

Reply ButtonReply

Elise

Wow this looks great I think I might order this box. Would love if we could get arm length measurements as I’d hate for the arms to be too short for me

Reply ButtonReply

@HappyRebelBox

Hi, Elise! Feel free to email us directly if you have any questions regarding sizing and additional measurements. We would be happy to assist.

Reply ButtonReply

...

I’m curious about the length. Sometimes robes are really short for my taste, but this one looks a bit longer.

Reply ButtonReply

@HappyRebelBox

We agree. This robe is meant to hit more comfortably around the knee.

Reply ButtonReply

JK

This would also look super cute with black jeans and boots.

Reply ButtonReply

Allison

I like my robes to have big, fluffy collars, But I still might have to get this box!

Reply ButtonReply

Gracie

If only velvet was cruelty-free. 😢

Reply ButtonReply

Meg

Wait. How is a polyester velvet not cruelty free?

Reply ButtonReply

Meg

Are you assuming it’s silk velvet? Otherwise, how is a synthetic velvet cruel? I’m super curious.

Reply ButtonReply

AmyM

Same.

jenn

the velveteen rabbit always bummed me out too

Reply ButtonReply

Gracie

If only velvet was cruelty-free.

Reply ButtonReply

Meg

Very cool robe… velvet is totally on-trend right now and I do enjoy lounging around the house like Mrs Hannigan but I have a couple questions. What is the fiber content? I’m guessing poly which honestly does not equal “luminous luxury” to me but hopefully I’m incorrect. Is this from a cool indie designer or is it simply a “HRB exclusive”…hopefully the former.

Reply ButtonReply

@HappyRebelBox

Hi, Meg! The fabric content of this robe is 97 Poly / 3 Spandex, and it was designed by us. We love working with both established and indie brands, but sometimes we can’t find exactly what we are looking for for our members, so we create it ourselves 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

JL

Hmmm. I am not sure what to think. I rarely wear robes and for the occasions when i do, I have 2 to choose from. Velour is just not for me — it always causes a lot of static and I get flashbacks to the 90s from this fabric. Until I see another spoiler I’m going to sit this one out. Though I suppose it would be highly swappable….

Reply ButtonReply

Erica

Love, love, love! I almost ordered at velvet robe, yesterday. A tranquil evening to myself, sign me up!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Kat

I love Happy rebel’s customer service. But I’m on the fence about this robe. I can’t decide if it feels too 90’s for me. It might not be my style. I’m going to wait for the second spoiler.
