Facetory FOUR-ever Fresh Subscription Box Review – October 2017

Facetory FOUR October 2017

FaceTory
4.9 overall rating
23 Ratings | 5 Reviews

Facetory is a monthly sheet mask facial subscription. The company aims to provide its members with the latest cult faves from the Korean sheet mask trend. Rather than arriving in a box, like the SEVEN LUX subscription, this smaller FOUR-ever Fresh version comes in a cool pouch that has the same awesome design. Love their packaging!

This is a review of the FOUR-ever Fresh subscription level ($5.95 per month + shipping), which includes 4 curated sheet masks made from traditional fabrics like cotton and cellulose. They also offer a SEVEN LUX subscription level, which includes 7 curated sheet masks with slightly higher-functioning ingredients (think hydrogels and other more sophisticated ingredients).

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

It's so great that Facetory consistently includes an information card including the name, retail value, and ingredients of each mask. Super helpful in learning more about each product prior to testing it on your skin.

D'Mask Rosewater Revital Mask - Listed Value $3.50

This mask has a 100% natural cellulose sheet which means that it's very thin and fits snugly to the face. Upon opening up this mask, I immediately noticed the light rosewater scent of the essence. So lovely and floral! The thinness of the sheet allowed the mask to apply snugly and adhere well. I love when masks smell great and feel comfortable -- it allows me to leave them on that much longer for a better result. One unique feature of this mask is that 82% of the entire essence is made up of rose water. Rose water has countless inflammatory benefits and helps to reduce redness, irritated skin, and acne-prone skin. I definitely found this to ring true in my experience. My skin felt hydrated and calm upon removing.

PACKage Sweet Dream Sleeping Mask - Listed Value $3.00

I had actually tried this mask before thanks to Therabox, but it was a nice treat to receive it again. This lavender-infused all-natural sheet mask smells divine. As soon as I catch a whiff of lavender, I immediately feel like I’m in a spa, and the scent is strong here. The sheet even features a tiny quote on its sheet: "You did well today, sweet dreams." Cute and uplifting! Its soaked in a very creamy essence which is different from the serum-like formulas I’m used to with most sheet masks. After use, I found my face to be super hydrated, and I was definitely ready for bed. But mostly, the design of the packaging is incredible as well as the relaxing aromatherapy effect.

Beyond Intensive Ampoule Collagen Mask - Listed Value $3.00

This mask is loaded with collagen, an ingredient that I've been seeing all over the skincare world lately. It's said to help strengthen the skin barrier and keep skin firm and elastic. The sheet of this mask is made from cupra cotton seeds allowing for a natural, soft texture and minimal moisture evaporation during use. Though it's impossible to report on the long-term effects of this mask, it is said to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. My skin felt really taut and plump after use, so I could definitely see how this mask would improve signs of aging over time.

Epona Only Jeju Marine Plants Mask - Listed Value $3.00

Named after the Roman goddess Epona, a protector of horses and prime symbol of prosperity and fertility, this mask contains seaweed and kelp extract to moisturize the skin. It has a pleasant, natural scent that definitely reminded me of the sea. After leaving the mask on for 20 minutes, I found my skin to be super glowy and bright. This is a great mask if you're looking for a healthy glow in a pinch!

Verdict: This is my first experience with the FOUR-ever Fresh subscription, though I had previously tried the SEVEN LUXE box from Facetory. I’m loving the assortment that I received this month but especially that Facetory is donating to a terrific cause. With an average value of $2.23 per mask, I would absolutely recommend the FOUR-ever Fresh box to those that love including masking in their skincare routine!

I got this same pack this month and I’m going to try the sweet dreams one tonight actually… ❤️ I’m so happy to see this review. I’ve been a lil anxious about trying some masks because I’ve got oily skin. I’ve been receiving advice that with the proper moisture that the oil will be able to balance out so I’m gonna give it a shot… Wish me luck 🤞

I have oily skin, and it’s never looked better since I started to sub to beauty boxes. It’s still naturally oily, but the products I’ve received (including sheet masks) has really helped to tame it down so now I have a little glow by the afternoon rather than an oil slick on my face. 🙂

I hope they all work out for you!

Awww thanks my Luna! I’ve been trying to do better with my skincare and haircare and honestly getting into beauty boxes has been a great experience for me 😊 I appreciate the response and I look forward to using the sweet dreams mask tonight even more now 🤗

Donna

Big difference between “4” and “7” masks. Seems a bit overpriced

Sometimes sheet masks are so hard for me to use, because I really, really don’t want to cut & ruin the packaging because sometimes they’re just so darn pretty or cute! 😀

Agreed! Sometimes the packaging is one of my favorite parts about the experience.

Ash, the ingredients are written in Korean…

Yes, ingredients are almost always in Korean. I try to note top ingredients in each mask review, but I’ll definitely make a point to always mention them going forward. Facetory does a good job of including mask ingredients on its monthly info card!
