This month’s theme is all about the fall and going back to school!
The back of the card notes the products that are in my box, along with a little description about each product.
Let’s dig in!
Surf Sweets Gummy Worms, 2.75 oz. – Value $2.29
This box is all about going back to school, and each snack is something that kiddos would love or that would remind you of being a kid! I love gummy worms and they remind me of cheerleading practice because we used to snack on these gummy delights after school before practice started. The fruity flavors are the perfect after-school snack or even something you can toss in your little one’s lunch bag as a sweet surprise!
Annie B’s Caramel Apple Kit, 1 lb – Value $7.00
Nothing says fall quite like a caramel apple! This caramel is slow-cooked with natural ingredients in a copper pot, which is how Annie B’s has been making their caramel since 1978. I have eaten my fair share of caramel apples over the years, but have never made any on my own. I am very excited to try this little kit with my family. What a fun activity to enjoy with your kids on a weekend and share with friends.
Soul Sprout Cacao Nut Bar, 1.5 oz. – Value $3.00
This is the perfect bar to eat in the morning or for an afternoon energy boost! This bar is filled with organic ingredients, rich in antioxidants, and packed full of vitamins and minerals that your body and mind need, especially during back to school time. As a Mom, I am constantly looking for something to eat on the go that will give me lots of energy and this bar was perfect for that. The various nuts provided a crunch and creaminess that I really loved! You might be wondering what cacao is, and basically, it is chocolate in its purest form. So while you aren’t getting a rich layer of chocolate in this bar, you are getting a nice powder like chocolate flavor that really binds the different nuts together.
Annie B’s Handmade Popcorn Sea Salt Caramel, 2.5 oz. – Value $2.00
This popcorn was everything, I literally ate the whole bag on my own! Fall is my favorite time of the year so I was excited to see so much caramel flavored snacks in this back to school themed box. This popcorn was coated in a sweet caramel with the sea salt cutting through to add that bit of savory. This would be the perfect snack to take to a football game or for a cozy movie night in!
Salem Baking Wild Blueberry Shortbread Cookies, 5 oz. – Value $5.99
When I was little, my mom used to surprise us after school with homemade blueberry muffins so this snack really hits that whole back to school theme home for me! Each cookie is a fun little bite size that makes it easy to snack on a lot at once. The shortbread itself is flaky and rich while you really get a ton of the blueberry sweetness in each bite. This was a really delightful snack that the whole family can enjoy!
Verdict: This was my first time receiving the Sweets GiftBox, and since I have a pretty strong sweet tooth, I was really excited to dig into this month’s snacks! I loved that the snack brands were all unique to me, which allowed me to learn more about different snack brands that my family might enjoy. A good theme is always a fun way to engage in a box as well so I was really loving this back to school one that allowed me to really indulge in the tastes of fall that. The calculated value for this month’s box comes in at $20.28, which is below the monthly cost of $25. While I really loved this month’s theme and the snacks featured, I would like to see maybe a few more items at this price to get the overall value a bit higher. Overall, I really loved this month’s box and each of the snacks, but I do hope to see a little higher value next month!
