Pop In A Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon – September 2017
Pop In A Box is a Funko POPs subscription that helps you build out your collection every month! You can sign up to receive 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, or 12 POPs each month.
This is a review of a 6-POP delivery.
One thing to note with this subscription – sometimes, your POPs arrive in different packages – weeks apart! I received two of these days ago, while the original 4 arrived 2 weeks prior.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
Some POPs arrived extra guarded in additional packaging!

This is a no-frills subscription. You’ll be getting the amount of POPs of your choice in a plain brown box. But, with any subscription, you’ll have a chance to pull a 6 inch POP or POP Ride – I think I’ve received an oversized POP at least twice with my subscription.
Here’s a quick run-down of creating your PIAB account:
The first thing you’ll want to do is set up your collection. This is an important step to ensure that you don’t receive a duplicate POP or a POP that you may not care about.
You can cycle through POPs and selection options for each one. Mark ‘Add to my Collection’ for POPs you have and avoid duplicates. Give POPs a thumbs down to let PIAB know that you don’t want it, and mark it as thumbs up to let them know that you’re really interested in that specific POP.
There are a TON of POPs to go through. I haven’t even gone through all of them, but in the end, you’ll have built your own collection! This will help you keep track of what you have, and it will help PIAB know what to send.
They also no offer subscription options for Marvel, DC, Disney, Dorbz, and Rock Candy – find out all the details here!
I got a classic Star Wars POP in my box!
This is a classic AT-AT driver outfit from the original trilogy.
There are A LOT of Star Wars to collect – and the collection is expanding with The Last Jedi right around the corner.
Yes – it’s Nathan Drake!
I think this is ever Nathan Drake outfit. I really love the Uncharted games, and I’m starting to just get into Lost Legacy!
I would be that there will be more Uncharted POPs down the line.
My next two POPs are from Bojack Horseman – first, Mr. Peanutbutter!
He’s got that care-free, in his on world look in this sculpt – just like the character.
I got the Bojack POP in my July box – so this is my second in the collection. And my third is…
My Bojack collection continues with Bojack’s agent – or past agent – Princess Carolyn.
She’s got her phone out, ready to book auditions for Bojack!
After this delivery – only two POPs left for round 1 of the Bojack POPs!
I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I’m mid-way through the novels – so I’m really excited to get the full set of Dark Tower POPs (there’s only two).
I’m pretty sure that everyone loves Roland – he’s such a fantastic character. I love that Idris Elba got the role, too – I feel like he’s as badass as Roland!
Let’s finalize this collection…
It’s the Man in Black – he’s a man of many names!
These make me want to get the new IT POPs – I can’t wait til each kid gets a POP!
Verdict: I love getting multiple POPs from two different collections – they stuck to my list and I love every POP! The downside – I had to wait almost the entire month to get all six POPs – it’s pretty frustrating, but my experience with their customer care has been really positive.
