StarBoard Alchemy Sea Garden Mask - Value $22.00
This powder mask is made with just three ingredients, French green clay, organic spirulina powder and organic kelp powder. Mix 2 tablespoons of powder with enough water to make a paste. Smooth onto your face with your fingertips or a brush and after 5-15 minutes rinse off. The mask is said to have anti-aging properties. I didn’t notice any visible difference with my skin, but admittedly it was only one application and it may need more than that to see a noticeable effect.
Stonework Studio Yoga Mat Cleanser (6.67 oz.) - Value $14.95
I’ve just taken up yoga again after a five-year hiatus and I was so glad to see this spray cleanser included this month. It’s made of water, vinegar, witch hazel, tea tree oil and lavender essential oil. Simply shake, spray on your yoga mat, wipe with a clean cloth and allow to dry before rolling up your mat for storage. No yoga mat? No problem! This cleanser can be used for a multitude of things from wiping down your child’s high chair to freshening up your desk at work.
Vine Street Market Athletic Tote - Value $29.99
This fuschia mesh tote easily folds up into a built-in carrying pouch. That makes it perfect for throwing in the car or your bag to have on hand for a quick trip to the craft fair or market. In addition to the large center pocket, there are two smaller side pockets which are ideal for a water bottle or your keys. The mesh makes it breathable and I picture using this next summer for schlepping the kids sandy toys to the beach. It's machine washable too!
Manna Kadar Glo Illuminator – Value $29.00
I have to admit I’m over the Manna Kadar subscription market saturation. I feel like this brand is just in way too many boxes. However, the illuminator itself is a light, non-greasy formula which dries quickly and left a shimmery peach glow. It can be added directly to your BB cream or moisturizer for an all-over glow or applied as a highlighter on cheeks and brow bones.
Here is a swatch of the illuminator.
Bumble Bar Chai Almond Energy Bar – Value $1.58? (Buy 12 for $18.99)
This energy bar is gluten free, dairy free, organic and made in the USA. However, none of that makes up for the fact that to me it tastes like bird seed. Not that I’ve ever eaten bird seed, but I imagine it must taste like this bar. I didn’t get any chai flavoring (which I love). It just tasted like sesame seeds with a little bit of sweetness. Bummer.
Verdict: What a nice box this month! The value was over $97 which is nearly triple the $33.95 cost of the box so I’m thrilled with that. The yoga spray and tote bag were my favorite items this month. I recommend this women’s lifestyle box to all women, not just those that are mothers.
