Each month, Doki Doki comes with an informative booklet that includes all you need to know about your items, a comic, a list of the prizes you can win, and social media highlights! This month’s theme is “Happy Home”, so you can expect all sorts of household items this month.

Kumamon Drink Pitcher

Whoa, this is such a great item! I wish it would have come in an earlier box so I could have used it more in the summer months, but Pittsburgh is getting in the 80s today, so I guess we’re not out of the heat quite yet.

There are two graphics on the pitcher, the front, and back of Kumamon, who is the mascot of the Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan and widely popular. It holds up to 1200 ml of liquid, so you can enjoy at least a few glasses of iced tea from one pitcher’s worth.

The handle is attached to the lid and unscrews to add your favorite beverage and ice if needed.

There is a little spout that opens and closes at the top to keep things cool and bugs out of there!

Kumamon Microfiber Cloth 2 Piece Set

The second item also features Kumamon on a set of two microfiber cloths. Each cloth measures 12 inches square and has a pattern that matches the pitcher.

These are perfect for cleaning up little spills in the kitchen or even dusting around the living room.

One of the cloths is lined in pink, and the other in a baby blue.

The back doesn’t have a print and is the softer side of the towel.

Strawberry Tea Infuser – Value $5.26

I’ve acquired quite a few kinds of loose leaf tea from various boxes, so this silicone strawberry tea infuser is going to come in handy for me!

I love the way the soft silicone feels, and the design is just so cute! The “seeds” of the strawberry are perforated holes for the tea to steep through.

Even though it pulls apart easily, the lip holds the top and bottom together after filling with tea.

Animal Plushie Blankie in Llama

There are six variations I could have gotten in this blanket and I’m so happy I got the llama, even if it isn’t immediately recognizable as one. When rolled up, this little fella has a pink ribbon to hold him together.

When unrolled, he becomes a glorious, super soft throw blanket that measures 37.5 inches tall by 31 inches wide.

I love the way his little legs and ears dangle from an otherwise plain blanket like this. Hahaha. He looks so sad!

The blanket is made from a thin fleece material that is so freaking cozy! I’ll definitely be using this on the couch come winter!

Kiki’s Delivery Service Toothbrush – Value $9.19

Yes! Stoked to see another Studio Ghibli item come through this month! Last month I got a Totoro cup, and now this cute Kiki’s Delivery Service toothbrush featuring Jiji the black cat.

Even the packaging is cute!

Unfortunately, this seems like child’s size toothbrush more than that for a grown up. It may do nicely as a travel brush though.

It has a solid plastic handle that has a hole at the end in case you need to hang it up.

The brush head is a lot smaller than I’m used to, but I do have a small mouth, so I’m willing to give this a try next time I travel.

Hoppe-Chan At Home

Another beloved Hoppe-Chan for my army!

This little lady rests next to a yellow house and dons a daisy on her head.

Hello Kitty Toothbrush Holder

Next, we travel to the bathroom to organize the toothbrushes with this plastic cream-colored stand.

It has a scene with Hello Kitty amongst cupcakes, milk and tea.

On one side she says “You have a way of brightening my day!”

And on the other side, she is quietly reading a book.

I like that the bottom is detachable so you can clean out all the icky toothpaste crust that always settles down there!

Verdict: I really enjoyed September’s installment of Doki Doki! I got a box full of useful items to use around the house and was so excited to see some Kumamon items because he’s just so darn cute. It’s usually tough to place exact values on these items since they come from Japan, but I received seven things for $30 which makes each come out to $4.29 a piece. Even if I wouldn’t pay that much for one or two of the items, there are certainly others that are worth more!

Did Doki Doki make your home happy this month?
