Yankee Short Sleeve T-Shirt - Value $15.00?

This is a Sports Crate exclusive Yankee shirt. I like the Yankee logo with the picture of New York State. The back says Bombs Away Crew and there is a SportsCrate logo on the sleeve. The shirt is soft with a bit of stretch and has a basic crew neck.

Didi Gregorius Figure - Value $20.00?

There was a fully posable Baller figurine of Yankee shortstop Didi Gregorius. The figure uses SportsFlex posable technology which includes 21 points of articulation. He comes with a plate that he can stand on in an upright position, a bat to hold and a glove that can be used to replace his hand (hands can click in and out).

Cowhide Bi-Fold Yankee Wallet - Value $10.00?

Ok, I’m just really not sure how to go about reviewing an item that has a warning such as this on the wallet case. If the chemicals used in this product are proven to cause cancer and birth defects why would Sports Crate use this item in their boxes? I’m really disappointed in SportsCrate for sending this item to their customers.

This wallet is 100% cowhide, has slots for cash, credit cards and a zippered slot for change.

Yankees Sun Shade - Value $8.00?

This Yankees sun shade is for putting in your windshield when the car is parked to help block out the sun and to help prevent your car from getting too hot in the summer when outside. These used to be so popular but I have to say I haven’t seen these at all lately where I live. The shade folds up into a handy carrying/storage case.

Topps Trading Card - Value $2.00?

Every month Sports Crate sends a limited edition Topps trading card. This month’s card was of shortstop Didi Gregorius which would look great displayed along with the posable figurine.

Verdict: This was the third Sports Crate by Loot Crate. I really like the t-shirt this month, but I am very disenchanted about the wallet they sent. The value with my estimations comes to $55.00 which is well above the $39.99 cost of the box.

That warning is on literally everything in California. It’s a California thing that’s the result of a Proposition being passed about labeling things. Everyone in every other other state is using the EXACT same products without the warning. Please don’t be upset with Sports Crate because us Californians are weird — it’s really not fair to them.

I’m actually kind of surprised the warning isn’t on our “Welcome to California” signs! 😛

Don’t do it! The second biggest mistake of my life after marrying my first husband was purchasing the full season of sports crate. The gifts suck and I am still waiting for my July package and it’s almost September. The tracking info is meaningless because FedEx turned the package over to the usps so I have no way to track this package. Supposedly shipped on Aug 11. It’s now the 22nd and still no package. Writing this off as a huge loss. Beware.

I jumped the gun and subscribed (and without the coupon 😠) and I’m a bit worried after checking out more reviews and seeing shipping issues.

I do know that I sent an email inquiry and they responded right away. Then they replied to my thanks right away with something along the lines of “you’re great and we love you” which seemed odd but nice I guess and it was fast.

I didn’t do a full season though. I figure there will be at least something my husband can use and my kids will take the figure/toy.

My son loved this months crate. Much, much better products than the last two boxes. He especially loves his very first wallet.

Can’t edit so I’ll add….you will even find a Prop 65 sign at Disneyland. They are also in parking garages (fumes). Like I said super common here so I wouldn’t worry.

I agree on the wallet! Why would sports crate or the Yankees support products that have proven to cause harm to anyone?

At least they included the warning so it can go straight into the trash. I’d be disappointed if I had a similar experience.

Regarding the chemicals known to cause cancer thing….in California there was a proposition that requires things to be labeled as such. It is in a sign on almost every office building you go into here. It is so commonplace that it is pretty much not even noticed anymore. It’s not that the item is carcinogenic but may have 1 thing used in processing that could cause cancer ( if you drank a gallon of it or something).

Since they ship to California it has to be labeled. This doesn’t mean that the same items sold in other states don’t have the same ingredients, it’s just that California requires them to be labeled.

Exactly

I remember having a doctor’s appointment in building that had that sign.
So, yes. A California thing.

I really hope that anyone who is not comfortable with tqhe idea anyway, please donates the wallet. It honestly will not give anyone cancer. The food we eat will probably do that before the wallet does.

Aside from that, this was finally a good box! Loved everything, husband already switched out his wallet. Although he said it was a little snug but it will be better once broken in.
