Rejuva Minerals Pur Lips Lipstick in Red Red Wine, 0.14 oz. – Value $12.95
Packed with organic ingredients, I was excited to see a natural lipstick on the list of personalization options for this box. The shade I chose was Red Red Wine: a very sheer, deep red. Upon swatching, I was a bit throw off by its metallic-y particles, but, on the lips, it has a very natural and subtle sheen. This lipstick definitely qualifies as a rosy ‘my lips but better’ shade!
Devita Moroccan Rose Facial Toner, 2 oz. – Value $5.60 (buy a 5 oz. bottle for $13.99)
I’m a huge fan of rosewater skincare including sprays and toners. This 100% vegan and paraben free formula boasts no GMOs and no animal testing: both of which are important to many of us. I used this toner on cleansed skin in the morning, and it definitely left my face feeling prepped and invigorated. I also spritzed it on a couple times throughout the day for a bit of a makeup refresh. The small size makes it ideal for travel or carrying around in your purse as well.
Afterspa Konjac Sponge – Value $9.57
I had never used a facial sponge like this before! After examining its hard outer shell, I, like any good beauty junkie, Googled, ‘how to use a kojac sponge?’ Come to find, these deep cleansing sponges are eco-friendly, completely natural, and made from Korean plant roots. Begin by rinsing and soaking your dry sponge with warm water until fully softened. It will expand a bit. You can then use the sponge with plain water or a cleanser of your choosing to lightly remove black heads. I used the sponge with my favorite cream cleanser of the moment, and my face was left feeling adequately exfoliated and glowing.
Verdict: I love the idea behind the Satva Swag Box! Receive at least 2 full-sized items from previous Satva boxes, and you’re able to partially personalize your order – pretty awesome. This was a great way for me to introduce some more natural beauty items into my regime. Admittedly, it’s something I need to work on being more conscious of. And with a value of around $28.12, the $14.99 cost is well worth the assortment.
