Let’s check out the items!
Hensley Asher Co. Body & Air Mist, Sage & Sea Salt, 2 oz. – Value $5
The first thing I noticed about this box is it smelled so good! This mist is amazing. It can be used on hair, body, or as a room mist. The packaging is simple and pretty and the scent is an instant pick-me-up. This product is from an Etsy store. I love the idea of supporting small businesses and finding products I might never have stumbled upon myself.
Honey Belle Natural Loofah Soap, Eucalyptus Peppermint, 5oz. – Value $8
Another small business! This scrubby soap is perfect for removing all that scaliness from your legs and getting your skin beach ready. It isn’t too rough and has coconut oil and glycerin to moisturize. This scent is invigorating and makes the shower smell great even when it is just sitting there. And, for every soap purchased, the company donates one to someone in need!
Camille Beckman Bath Salts, Full Relaxation, 2 oz. – Value $3 ($12 for set of 4)
I love a good salt soak and this one was so relaxing. I received Full Relaxation which is a lavender and eucalyptus infused mix. After long days and tough workouts, it is nice to have an excuse to sit still and just soak. I was a bit confused at the value given. Each box should have received one of four different soaks that come in the set, but the value on the info card was for the whole set. I have updated the value to reflect one soak.
Fish Tail Make-up Brush – Value $7.01
This is one of those items that I didn’t know I needed until I saw it. How adorable! Spot on with the mermaid trend and actually useful. This big brush is great for highlighter, bronzer, or contouring. The bristles are short and dense but really soft. And, it comes with a snap closed plastic cover that is great for travel and storage.
Kikkerland Fish Nail Clipper Set, Copper – Value $6
Another too cute item! These little fish shaped clippers are well-made and pretty with a copper finish. There is a small and large size and each has an emory board inside of the arm. They actually trim well and are easy to hold onto. The brand is another clever find and has a lot of fun items on their site.
Black Lace Choker – Listed Value $8
Do mermaids wear chokers? Well, this one does now. This black lace choker is stretchy, soft, and a step up from the plastic chokers of my middle school days.
Verdict: I think Peachy Box delivered on the curation of their monthly theme “Mermazing” this month. This box was full of cute items that look great as a collection. I really appreciate the inclusion of products from small, artisan businesses and I feel like that is where the value is in this box. The total value was about $37, which is just above the cost of the monthly box plus free shipping. If you like pretty packaging and learning about new, trendy products all fitting within cute themes, then this is a great box for you.
