Our Subscription Box Favorites for July!
We’re starting a new monthly post highlighting our favorite discoveries from subscription boxes! Here are our favorite items from the past month:
The Item: Lux & Co Blair Maternity Cold Shoulder Fitted Dress
The Cost to Keep: $58
From: Stitch Fix Maternity
Why I love it: this is one of my all-time favorite items Stitch Fix has sent me, especially in the maternity category! This color is one I love with my complexion but I just don’t have much of in my wardrobe already! I have already gotten so much wear out of this dress – a date night or two, and dressing it down with nude flats and a denim jacket. I think it’s flattering, a great length, and the cold shoulder detail is trendy but designed well enough that it doesn’t fall where my bra straps are showing. I love it!

The Item: Mochi Blue-Deep Moisture Mask
The Cost: Listed Value $4.50
Why I love it: This spongey, jiggly gel mask left my skin feeling taut and fresh! I’d never tried a sheet mask that came in 2 parts before this one, and I found that it adhered to my face beautifully and felt very comfortable. Loved its pretty blue shade as well!
The Item: Gaines Family Farmstead Sweet Potato Chews (8 oz)
The Cost: $10.99
Why I Love It: Nyx’s inflammatory bowel disease means she can’t have treats very often (we give a lot of treats from dog subscription boxes away). But I’ve given her a few of these and she absolutely loves them, plus they don’t upset her stomach.

The Item: Moody Sisters Lightweight Moisturizer
The Cost: $16
Why I love it: I have been using this moisturizer NON STOP after receiving it! This lotion has aloe vera juice as its base ingredient and it instantly absorbed into my skin without feeling oily or sticky. It has a light peppermint scent and a cooling effect. I love it as a morning moisturizer as it made my skin super soft and hydrated. I highly recommend this product for my oily skin fellows!

The Item: Block Print Bandana
The Cost: Listed Value $14
Why I love it: I ended up taking the plunge to wear this around my neck like some cool girls I’ve seen around, and I love the look! It’s great for summer to keep the sweat at bay, and it looks super cute! I also really love the colors (a simple grey and white) and the leaf pattern.

Anna Reilly’s Favorite:
The Item: Oleena Bikini with Hipster Bottoms
The Cost: VIP Price $39.95 (retail price $49.95)
Why I love it: This black bikini looks great and fits even better. With AdoreMe, you get to choose the lingerie sets you want each month—since it’s summer, I used this opportunity to dive into their swimwear selections rather than pick another set of undies, and they did not disappoint! The quality is great for the price, and I love the versatility of this simple black set. I’ll be wearing it through the rest of this summer and well into next year’s swim season (and beyond)!

The Item: Up Your Game Run Short by MPG Sport
The Cost to keep: $68
From: Wantable Men’s Fitness
Why I love it: These quality shorts have been my go to running bottoms since I received them! Their compression liner is just the right amount of flashy and the quality is extremely high – 10 out of 10 in my book!

The Cost: $25.00
Why I love it: This spray is made in Hawaii and uses essential oils. It can be used on both your body and also as a room, car or linen spray. I love the tropical way my house smells after spraying it. Takes me back to Hawaii!

The Item: Mariel Bootie in Gold
The Cost: VIP Price $39.95 (retail price $59.95)
Why I love them: Booties are my #2 wardrobe staple (denim is #1!), so I’m always on the hunt for super unique materials, color, and texture. These gold booties deliver across the board. They add pizzazz to a basic outfit and the ankle cut-out is unique while keeping my foot comfortably in place.

The Item: Linen Throw Stenciling Kit
The Cost of the box: $65 (+ optional $26 add-on kit)
From: The Crafter’s Box
Why I love it: This was a fun challenge that pushed me outside my comfort zone. The linen is a wonderful heavy weight and the quality of all the supplies was very high. It’s my favorite project of the year so far and is something I will use for a long time.

The Item: Big Sur Bar – White Zest Flavor
The Cost: $2.95
Why I Love It: I’m still dreaming about this delicious cookie treat, and I decided to go ahead and order a box for weeklong hiking/eclipse trip next month! Here’s what I said in my review:
The bottom half is essentially a blondie, and then it’s topped with coconut, orange zest, raisins, almonds, pecans, and white chocolate chips. It’s really good. Like, really good. It’s very rich, so much so that I split it up over two days. There is a lot of sugar here (45g in the full bar), but also some good protein (12g in the full bar), so this could be a good trail treat or afternoon booster snack every once in a while. I wish I could eat them all the time…
The Item: Matcha Green Tea Face Mask
The Cost: Value $25.00
Why I love it: I could see the impurities pulled from my skin when this mask dried. This is almost as good as the see through canisters on vacuum cleaners! It’s so nice when you can actually see something working well on your skin. Plus, the smell is great and my face was nice and soft after using it.

Why: This was the first-ever box from World’s Finest: The Collection – and it was a home run. I’ve been waiting for a box with an exclusive statue line that was from Marvel or DC – and this is finally it! This box made me so excited to find out what’s coming next!

The Item: Sisley Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream
The Cost: $195
Why I Love It: I’m always using high-quality skin care sample thanks to subscription boxes, so I don’t usually expect to see a major difference in my skin after sampling something new, but I applied this at night and then noticed my skin truly looked better the next day! I just wish it wasn’t such an expensive product! But it’s fantastic!
