This month included a new wearable + treats and two toys!

You'll get an information card that details every item in the box.

TMNT Ice Cream Bandana - Value $10?

This month includes a bandana that features the classic TMNT popsicle!

There's not too much to it - it's a thin fabric - but I do like that the last popsicle has been eaten.

It looks SUPER CUTE on Buckles!

Toy Donut - Value $6

This is a squeaky toy donut that will definitely bring back images of Homer Simpson!

It's plush, but a bit more firm - and a perfect bite size for Buckles.

He's definitely loved playing with this toy- it's a keeper!

Peanut Pupper Pencil Treats - Value $10?

This month's treats are a bit of a mix between a harder chew and chewable treat.

The shape should help with oral hygiene, and the dog won't care because the peanut scent is strong from these!

These were easy to break apart to help with portion sizes - which also meant that they were soft enough for our dog to enjoy.

Spongebob Incredibubbles - Value $4-5

The last item in the box is edible peanut butter bubbles - yep, you read that correctly. And let me tell you, it's a strong peanut butter scent - perfect to keep your dog entertained in the summer.

Verdict: Buckles was a fan of every item in the box - so that's really my best test as to whether it was a good month or not - and this month was. While this line hasn't experience shipping delays, Loot Crate has been having shipping issues on single items or entire boxes across numerous lines of late - that's something to keep in mind when subscribing. Overall - this was a good value month, and more importantly - a fun month for Buckles!

Well customer service told me the august lootpets would ship this past weekend. That didn’t happen so we will see.

Has anyone got the august shipping info? Last month I already received my box by now!

mmm…donuts (Homer Simpson voice) Buckles is too adorbs! I tried regular bubbles so many times and there was zero interest, so who would have thought of adding peanut butter scent? Well, obviously now I know! Wow!

I have some serious chewers that are enrolled in the big chewers of BarkBox, so I’ll take a look and see if this box has something for the seriously destructive chewers, because these are some cute toys, too. Two boxes would be fun for my dogs.

Ummm I just can’t imagine peanut flavored bubbles. Did Buckles like the bubbles? Is there photographic evidence?😉
And as MarieK suggested, are they edible for humans? I think there’s an untapped market here.

He doesn’t like bubbles in general, so while he was drawn to the strong PB scent – he couldn’t care less. And yes, I do believe it’s safe for people according to the packaging!

Is the $3 off month to month just for the first month? Or is it for every month?

Liz Cadman

Just the first month. If you sign up for a longer subscription though, use the 10% off coupon for the entire subscription length. Hope that helps! 🙂

Thanks Liz! I want to do it but I can only do month to month, I wish the coupon was longer than once! I’ll give it some thought. I used to do barkbox for over a year but I stopped about 6 months ago, and my dog still thinks every box is for him!

Michelle

My dogs liked everything in the box, but I think I’ll swap the bubbles as I don’t see my dogs appreciating that item anymore. When they were puppies, I bet they would of loved it!

I love the photo oh Buckles with his mouth open, just waiting for the donut to be deposited, please. He is so cute!

I’ll have to look for those bubbles. What a great idea.

These are all very good shots of Buckles. He is actually posing in each photo. This is no small feat.

Thanks! He’s a cutie but he isn’t the easiest model to work with! 😉
