JustFab is a monthly clothing, shoes and accessories subscription. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices on everything in their store. On the first of every month, they release new styles and you can pick any item you want – either from your personal ‘Boutique’ or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip by the 5th of each month, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.
This model is similar to how ShoeDazzle, Fabletics and AdoreMe work.

Cozy Bomber in Platinum, size XS - VIP Price: $36.95 (retail price $49.95)
For me, August is all about transitional clothing and starting to find the right items to ease my way into fall. So when I saw this oversized lightweight bomber-style jacket, I knew it would be my pick this month! JustFab offers it in misty rose and platinum, the latter of which I ordered. The jacket's body is a heathered gray and silver polyester/cotton/elastane blend and it feels soft but very synthetic. Regardless, I really like the look and fit, although I must note that I sized down one size based on past fit issues with JustFab's tops.
Oh wow, I just realized something: aside from my necklace and glasses, everything I'm wearing in this outfit is from a clothing subscription box! The top is from Frank & Oak, and the jeans and shoes are from last month's Stitch Fix!
Anyway, all in all, the jacket is well-made with matching collar, sleeve, and waist hem binding that is super thick and a durable gold zipper. And two humongous pockets! Without these details, the jacket would be super flimsy, but the quality is there for the VIP price of $36.95.
While it's still warm out during the day, I will absolutely be bringing this jacket with me when the evening temps get a bit cooler. It is the perfect layering weight for right now since my maxi cardigans are heavier wool blends.
Verdict: Each month, I am excited to see the new arrivals from JustFab! And this month's transitional pick was a good choice. I will get a lot of wear out of it, which justifies the $41.90 cost ($36.95 VIP price and $4.95 shipping since I didn't hit the $39.95 threshold for free shipping. Unfortunately, there were no lower price add-ons that caught my eye to get me above $39.95).
And I still feel the same about JustFab: Compared to other clothing boxes like Stitch Fix and Trunk Club, I am finding that despite the higher upfront out-of-pocket expense, I prefer to choose my items each month and find there's less risk with this subscription model.
