This is probably a stupid question but, are the coasters made of paper?

Yes like thin but sturdy cardboard. In my opinion they need to be laminated or some type of waterproof b4 use.

Ya they look like the same coasters in the last Fab Fit Fun Editor’s box…they are cardboard. I was actually planning on framing them to use as a decorative wall hanging or tray instead. They are really pretty but not very practical…especially with super-sweating summer beverages.

The coasters were offered as an add-on for FFF during the last quarters box. They did look nice but I couldn’t justify paying that for thick essentially cardboard coasters that we’re not going to last when I can go to Walmart and buy a set of coasters by the pioneer woman that are beautiful.

Laminate them. 🙂

I’m not 100% sure, but I have Rifle coasters that seem to be similar. Mine are made of cardboard. I wouldn’t say they last forever, but I got several uses out of them before they warped and/or stained. They’re pretty nice.
