The new design and quote on this card reflect the snazzy new Switch website. I'm loving the new look and the added functionality of filters on the collections page. I've definitely discovered some new favorite brands because of this service and now it's so much easier to find pieces by the makers I love the most.

Good to know: Switch will always use USPS First Class mail to send your jewelry unless it weighs more than 1 pound. Each package comes with a prepaid USPS return label so you can leave your return for your mail carrier or drop it off at the post office if you're the nervous type (like me!)

For the first time for me, Switch included two cards that talk about the two ways to earn credit. As a member, you earn $10 in purchase credit for every month you're a member. You can also earn $10 toward your membership for every friend you refer.

Each jewelry piece always comes in a black velvet bag or a branded pouch.

Celine Green and Brown Stone Open Gold Bangle Bracelet - Value $650, Member Price $455

I'm liking bracelets and bangles so much more these days and after the great success of last month's bracelet (I loved it so much I had to buy it!) I wanted to try another modern piece. The beautiful stone ends of this bangle are cut into smooth cylinders. One of the stones is a milky green color with burgundy flecks that match the solid burgundy-toned stone on the other end. The smooth, round gold-tone band makes this a very comfy piece to wear. It has a substantial weight without feeling clunky. The bracelet has a diameter of 5" so it'll work best on smaller wrists.

Here is the bangle on my wrist. Such a classy piece!

Next up is collar necklace, also slipped into a black velvet bag for shipping.

Odette Pleat Collar - Value $250, Member Price $175

Odette is becoming my favorite brand in the Switch collection. This collar necklace has an elegant and modern style with a simple twisted look. It's like a grown up version of a peter pan collar! Most necklaces in my personal collection are long statement pieces, but I was so into this one. The clasp is simply bent metal and was certainly easier to close than a lobster clasp.

I wore this necklace paired with a deep v-neck dress to our yearly vegan tasting dinner - which is by far our fanciest outing. It was classy, clean, and perfect for the look I wanted.

My third item was a pair of earrings from another favorite brand and came packed in a velvet bag. Inside the velvet bag, the earrings were each slipped into a mini zip top bag to prevent the earrings from scratching each other during shipping.

Marni Enamel and Resin Earrings - Value $450, Member Price $325

These earrings are like tiny pieces of modern art. They are beautifully made and so stylish. The weight is well balanced so these earrings didn't pull or stretch my ears. They are made from green resin and white enamel paired with a shiny gold-toned metal. I'm truly smitten with these and wish my budget would allow for a pair of $325 earrings!

Here they are on. I felt GREAT in these and think they suit my style so perfectly. I'm perfecting my sleek 80s/early 90s business woman aesthetic and these earrings were spot on.

Verdict: This month, I wanted to keep every item in my Switch! If only my budget would allow for such a jewelry splurge! This month's total retail value is $1,350 which is fantastic for the 3 piece at a time $69/month fee. As I said last month, Switch has been making a lot of changes to their site and to their collection, all for the better. There are so many more pieces in the collection that suit my taste perfectly than there were just a few months ago. Spending the retail price (or even the member price in some cases) for these items would be a big stretch for me so I'm delighted to be able to rent them, feel super classy, and then pop them back in the mail for the next person.

I have a question. Say I rent 3 pieces with Switch (A,B,C) and as soon as I receive all 3, I decide that I don’t like piece A and send it back with the prepaid return label that came with the box. Next day (while piece A is making it’s way back to Switch) I decide I don’t like piece B. At this point, how do I ship piece B back? I am asking because, I shipped piece B back using the original prepaid return label and my piece was lost in transit. 🙁 I was charged for the piece by Switch. After further research, apparently you cannot use the return label twice (I am obviously not an expert on USPS return labels). I really would have liked Switch to mention that in BOLD on their website or everytime they send the pieces out!

Very cool earrings. Does the $10 monthly roll over and accumulate?

Yep! The $10 you get each month for being a member adds up – so if you’re a member for 6 months, you’d have $60 in purchase credit.

The referral credits are a little different: “If you’re a member, for every member you refer, they get $10 off their first month, and you get $10 toward your next month.”

Hope that helps!

Wow I love big earrings but those are huge and lying down they looked like shoes.
