What comes in this box? If it’s like boxycharm then I might try it. But if it’s 32$ for just 3 products then I’ll pass. It don’t seem like it would be worth it. At least with boxy charm you get alot of products for just 20$ bucks. It will be hard to beat that.

32$ no way not for 3 pans from anyone!

I wish there was a way to find out what beauty boxes and beauty box items are made in China. If they’re made in China there is. I cruelty free and I’m always checking products to see.

For Instance,I really wanted to do Medusa’s Makeup but it’s all made in China ☹️ the products may say made in PRC (people’s republic of China). And sometimes I can’t find any info.

That’s just my 1st thought with this box. It looks nice. I like the colors but is it made in China?

Also if anyone knows how to find out please let me know. So many brands don’t list it on the websites.

I think the beauty box makeup is made in the USA. This shows up on each product page. The brushes do say they’re imported, so it looks like she does disclose this and the origin probably differs for the type of product.

Plus, a lot of her items are limited edition only (esp the subscription boxes) so it probably would be worth it to outsource to China if she has a relatively small production batch that changes every month.

Maybe reach out to Teri and ask her? It’s my understanding that it’s only international beauty products SOLD in China that have to be tested on animals.

If they’re made in china then they’ve been tested in accordance with applicable law at the point of manufacture. So yes, if made there the products indeed were tested on animals.

Alex

Thank you! Will do and will look into it

Katy

Is she doing away with her beauty box?

Decided to give this a try. I really really hope she’s including a palette to store them on! It’s a shame that I won’t have the first box (August) before they re-bill so I might have to cancel unless spoilers are released before.

If it’s vegan and cruelty-free, what’s with the matted fur under the palette? Vegetarian lion? Bad choice in your photography stager, Teri!

I’m not into this box. It sounds great with it being natural, vegan, and cruelty free, but for me, it’s too many good things packed into these products. I have skin reactions to natural and organic type products. I would suggest to others to check out Beautypedia to investigate their products’ ingredients and check the labels. I can read a label and know what will aggrevate my skin. I do seek cruelty free but stop there.

Beautypedia is created by Paula’s Choice founders and I have found some of the reviews to be dubious. Take it with grain of salt.

Haha, once I found a major scientific error on Beautypedia. (Polyethylene and polyurethane are not the same, or even comparable…) Granted, they were nice about it when I let them know, and they fixed it. But if I found one, casually browsing, there are likely others.

Hillary

Definitely want to see this reviewed first.
