Each box comes with a card detailing the brands and items included.

Now, on to the items!

Elyse Marie Botanicals No. 79 Hair Repair - Value $20

This lightweight hair oil adds moisture to your hair and helps prevent damage. And I love the lavender scent!

(I've decided that if you subscribe to natural beauty boxes, it's helpful to like the scent of lavender. I feel like half the items I receive are lavender scented!)

Knotty Dent + Damage Free Hair Coils - Value $10

I use Invisibobble thanks to subscription boxes, and these seem identical. The coil design helps prevent any dents in your hair. And I like that they stay put without having to tie your hair too tight.

Forager Botanicals New All Natural Shimmering Body Oil in Stargazer - Value $35

(Subscribers will either receive this Stargazer shade or Moonbeam.)

You have to really shake the bottle before each use to make sure the shimmer is evenly applied. I love that this is an all-natural body oil and the shimmer is fine and subtle. The scent is also subdued and described as having "sultry notes of amber, paired with the bright notes of orange, channeling the Italian Riviera."

Gaffer & Child Shaving Butter - Value $30

This shave butter is an organic latherless formula designed to give you a close, moisturizing shave. I only needed to apply a thin layer, so this bottle should actually last for a bit. And the packaging is much nicer looking in the shower than a typical shaving cream canister! It's still pretty pricey, though, so while I'll enjoy it, I probably won't buy it at full price.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $85! I think that's a good value for a $36 natural/organic beauty box. Plus, this box almost always introduces me to some new natural beauty brands!

Not only do I enjoy the items in this monthly box, but the company itself is spectacular. I am home from college and the box got sent to my college address instead of my home address and glowing beets sent another box to my home address! They are ready and willing to help with whatever their customers might need. I recommend this subscription to anyone!

Your comment about lavender cracked me up – so true!!

Plus, that shaving cream is overpriced IMHO.

Hi Liz,

I’ve noticed that three reviews today have shown the contents of the box in the picture on the main page. In the past you’ve generally just shown a picture of the outside of the box, not the contents. As someone who tries to avoid spoilers (and I can’t imagine I’m the only one), I’d much prefer just a picture of a box. What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

Hi Leah,

We will only use the picture of the items as the main item if the items were all revealed when anyone would purchase the box (for example, Target Beauty Box) or if we are a little late in getting the review up, and we know all subscribers would have received the box by the time the review goes up.

If I misjudged the timing on this review and you haven’t received the box yet, please let me know. (And apologies in advance if I spoiled this box for you – I never want to do that)

Funny, I prefer the spoilers. If there is only a pic of a box, I usually do not even look at it.
