Liz !!!
Help me out here,

What do you suggest me to do?

I got the deal from Gilt City ,with. Glossybox and got 2 boxes, today it was delivered and I got one that had the seal broken and the other was not delivered.
But the tracking number shows that both were delivered,so I got one stolen and the other opened.
I emailed them and took pictures.
But I had sent an email to Glossybox 4 weeks ago for an different matter and I still didn’t get a reply for it!So that doesn’t scream great costumer service to me…
I’m very disappointed because I wanted to give as an anniversary gift now I have nothing to give…
I always buy deals when my subscription addiction shows and that scares me if in a huge deal they are not prepared to deal with the amount of emails
Or request from people, obviously wasn’t their fault I think was mail people.
Who should I call first?
Thank you.

YUCK. Very awful bag – want nothing to do with it.

I agree that GB has gone downhill in terms of products. I had subbed for almost 2 years then cancelled only to be lured back by one of their specials. I have just two more months left and plan to cancel for good. It will have to be a really really special discount to get me back. Customer service has gotten really bad as well – very long time for responses regardless of email or phone or FB. My last email communication from them indicated that they were hiring more customer service folk as they had had a rather large turnover….. makes me nervous that another box will bite the dust.

Sorry, I fell asleep for a minute there.

Having 2 out of 5 products in the same catagory is not a good idea. For those of us that get Sellac the nail polish and remover are a bust. One product is a risk you take, but I have never seen 2 items in the same catagory before.

GlossyBox used to be such a good company but for the last four months I don’t know what’s going on I unsubscribed The ending of May but I subscribe to late so I still was getting a june box so they sent me my junk box and that was it, but then came there offer for $10 a month for three months so I resubscribed and I got my second box for June which I was OK with that because that’s how the plan works meanwhile I still have 1160 points which for some reason they took away from me and left me with 160 points so you would think they would send me a free box but no they did not I’ve been trying to contact them for the last week and they keep on sending me emails that someone else is taking care of my problem all I want to know is where is my thousand points!!! HELP

Maybe the June box was your 1000 points box and you’ll still get July, August and September?
You might get some answers if you phone them. Or hit them up on Facebook.

After nearly two years with Glossybox, this is my last month. Not even the deal that I have, paying under $15/month for month to month subscription will make me stay.

So far, I am really disappointed with all of the spoilers for this month. I’ve contacted their company twice, just this year, and I find their customer service and communication to be seriously lacking. They seem to really need some better training with how to (and how not to) help subscribers.

Anyone else notice that two of the items are from NCLA and two of the items are from Doucce? I think that might be a first for Glossy.

I hope I get that lip stain with it!! And my Julep eraser is on it’s last legs, so I’m thrilled to get a new polish eraser. I really love using one, since I tend to make mistakes on my non-dominant hand!

I’ll probably swap the blush if anyone is interested. The rest of the items look okay and will most likely get used! 😉 Not complaining at 10 bucks a box, though! 😉

This will be my first doucce and Im happy to try it.

I find this brand to be hit or miss. I have gotten some great items from the, most notably the mascara. They eyeshadows – well some are nice and the last one I got from Allure was useless. Gorgeous color in the pan, yet almost no pigment on the skin. I was so disappointed. I’m looking forward to trying the blush though.

Meh, will most likely be swapped, we will see. Last month was my very first glossybox so I’m fairly new to them, I’m starting to get nervous about the oh so popular variations I’ve always read about on here. I would really love that sunscreen, and the nail polish. Will be bummed if I get a less desirable items.

I love peach blush….great for a natural look! My daughter loves their mascara, she is looking to purchase another of those. Looks like it is forming up to a nice, well-rounded box!

I love the case from my allure set, this one is even bigger and the mirror is probably so nice for travel and building your own palet even if you dont like the makeup itself 😉
Myb1st glossyox was last summer and i got it only bc i wanted the magnetic case from ofra (like a z pallet)

How do you pronounce Doucce? Are they a good brand? Never really have tried them, but they seem to be saturating beauty boxes and it reminds me of Manna Kadar in everything. Thoughts?

Reply ButtonReply

Bonnie

I watched an unboxing of a different box on YouTube, and the lady doing the video said she called the company to ask how to pronounce it and they told her dooce, like it rhymes with juice.

Christine

Doucce kinda sucks in my opinion. They are made in the “prc” like Manna Kadar and the eyeshadow palette from the Allure box was mediocre at best. They do seem everywhere in boxes lately.

I think they started with a mascara and now I’m seeing their eyeshadows, lip products and blushes in boxes.

I have the Doucce X Allure palette and like it. Not as creamy as shadows I’m used to like Urban Decay’s but great for creating smoky eye. Maybe it’s just the way I apply it, but their formula seems to create more of a flattering veil than opaque color. A little weird with eyeshadows but I can imagine that being great in a blush! Fingers crossed I’m right ;D Personally I’m hoping that shade is not shimmery

JuJu

I would think with a “ch” sound like Susan Lucci.

Can’t answer the other questions, I never used the Doucce eyeshadow palette I got from Allure

Beautyluv88

I just got the eyeshadow palette from allure as a new subscriber and I love it! Highly pigmented and last all day with out a primer!!
