Does anyone know when the “tropical” code expires? I want aug-sept-oct, if I sign up now I’m assuming I will still get July? If the code expires 7/31 and there’s no new one for August I’ll probably subscribe now just in case. Thanks

Has anyone who used this deal box ship yet? I signed up on 7/17, but my box has not shipped yet. How long do they take to ship? I’m getting worried and I’m thinking I’ll have to deal with their CS which I read is horrible.

I am new to Glossybox and have a few questions…I signed up and ordered this same special in June (summer17) for my sister’s birthday thinking it would be great for her to get a variety of beauty items for 3 months. She loved June! I have to admit I was kind of jealous when I saw how awesome her box was! So now that this special has popped up again, can I order another 3 months and have it shipped to me even though I technically have already subscribed? Also can I fill our surveys for both? And when do I have to cancel as to not get charged for month #4 at regular price? Thanks for all your help!

Hello. Im gonna share with you what Im planning on doing. I got the summer17 deal, so 3 months (june,july & aug.) @ 10 each, on monthly basis. If unsubscribe today or till the end of month, I am already receving all three, because their policy is to unsub before the 15 of the previous month. And that would be the end of that sub. (monthly)
All these boxes are for me, but Im liking both July and August spoilers to gift someone so… Im planning on resubbing using this deal. That means that I would be receiving a second box for both july and august that Im going to give to someone else (along with a september one). As these would be a 3 month sub ending in september, if you dont want it to be renewed, you have to cancel the subscription before august 15 unless you want to keep it. Hope this helps.

Question for those with more glossybox experience than I have — I’ve e-mailed customer service but they seem to be on a 2-week minimum for responding. Does anyone know if your glossydots are saved if you unsubscribe? I was on a 3 month plan but wanted to go back to monthly, but the only way to do that (according to their faq) is to unsubscribe and the resub after the first of the next month. So I unsubbed on the 14th (to avoid an auto-resub of 3 months) but now I can’t even log into my account. So I can’t access the surveys and although I have enough glossydots for a free box, I’m now wondering if those are gone for good. Anyone with experience know what will happen? Between the difficulty of changing plans and the total lack of CS help (and the fact that I haven’t been super excited about any recent boxes), I’m seriously considering saying goodbye to glossy for good.

It states when you go to unsubscribe that if you do you lose your glossydots, I just resubscribe , that way I don’t is out my account

I resubbed with the wrong e-mail address and after a quick e-mail to Glossybox they switched my old glossydots to my new account. Way to go Glossy!

Your glossy dots should still be there if you resin scribe with the same e-mail address, I believe. J had a monthly plan that I unsubscribe from and then subscribed to a 6 month plan and my glossydots were still there.

Its odd you cant log in to the account. Have you tried changing the password?
I got my first glossybox at the end of march si i got the april as well, but unsubbed before the 15th. And I still had access to the account. By the end of last month got the 3 month on 10 deal so Im getring June, july and august even if unsubbing today, and i didnt have any issues resubbing. Im pretty sure I could have chosen any plan without any problems. Hope this helps

I e-mailed them, but I don’t love Glossybox enough to put any more effort into figuring this out than that. If they ever get back to me and get it all sorted out, I might resub, but I think Glossy has finally lost this subscriber. Sorry Glossybox, but I guess I’m just not that into you.

New to the sub boxes game and signed up for both, but know i will only wind up keeping one. I am also looking to sign up for a natural beauty/lifestyle box but would love to get that quarterly. Any suggestions on these?

Try Sugarbash for quarterly-ish. It really comes every other month and has a good mix of beauty and lifestyle. I like it more than FabFitFun which I had for quite a while and also PopSugar. Being bi-monthly also reduces the focus on seasons, so you don’t wind up with a bunch of tanners and bronzers for summer and wintery hats in winter.

Usually fab fit fun is amazing and a good combo of beauty and lifestyle. Summer boxes tend to be a little lackluster for me but keep an eye for fall. Rachel Zoe BOS is also a great one but a little pricey at $100 quarterly. I would suggest waiting for spoilers and a coupon for that box. I just started with pearlesque which is a natural beauty product box and the value is great and lots of full size or travel size. They also let you skip months after products are announced so you aren’t wasting money on stuff you don’t want. It is $40/mth. Beautyfix is good as well but not too many natural beauty items. Hope this helps.

So i have a question if anyone can answer. Ive never unsubed and resubed in the same month. So I dont know how it works glossydots-wise.
Unsuscribing from today on, i will be getting july and august. If I resub before the end of the month with this deal, i will get a second july box and second august box (and only a september box).
My question is: will i get a survey for each box I receive, that is, two surveys for each month i receive two boxes (2 for july &2 for august)?

Yes you will! I’ve been on and off with Glossy forever and I couldn’t resist the $10 deal. I forget what happens but I got two boxes of the same month and I had surveys for both boxes. It was great.

I think it is because if you unsuscribe and resub in the same month you unsub (before the 15) you will be starting the new sub on that month, while you will already be receiving a box that month from the first sub.

And Glossybox doesn’t answer their phones and if you email them, you get told they will get back to you in a couple weeks (and even apologize for their lack of customer service in their response email). And their cancellation deadline is the 15th and they don’t ship out boxes for many until the end of the month. And they don’t make it possible to cancel through your account online.
Cancellation is of real concern with this box.

That’s what I did. I scheduled reminders in my phone calendar of all my subs so I could cancel if I needed to after trial offers.
