Question — I purchased a 3 month subscription, got one box from it, skipped the next two months so now it’s past the date of when the 3 months would be over. I’m still owed 2 boxes, but since it’s past the date, I can’t make any selections for this month and it says my subscription is inactive. I don’t understand this since you’re allowed to skip. There are many things I’ve noticed on the GlobeIn website that need help, lots of help. Like, for starters, if you skip the month, why doesn’t the system extend the subscription end date by a month? Also, I had selected a box for the second month, but changed my mind and skipped it, but it still looks like I got what was selected when it should say ‘skipped.’ I had add-ons and was never charged so I can prove that I didn’t get anything sent. I emailed GlobeIn about the main issue I wrote about here on Tuesday morning before they opened since I’m east coast and they’re west coast. They had all day yesterday to get back to me and have not so it makes me think that they don’t know how to fix the issue. I shouldn’t have to renew my subscription to get the boxes still owed to me and that’s what my account makes it look like I have to do at this point. GlobeIn, if you’re reading comments on all these MSA posts, then please get a better web programmer, have your site UATe’d and maybe it will work better for you and more importantly, your subscribers. You have honey patterned dishes but the only way to find them is to use your search. They are not under any of the categories in your shop so if you’re not selling any, then that’s why…..sorry for the long post, but I am frustrated and the things that are wrong with GlobeIn seem easy to fix.

I had the EXACT same problem, skipping a couple of months plus changing my mind after selecting and skipping.

I emailed into customer service trying to tell them about the bug and reactivate my account for the 3 months I skipped. It took 3-4 emails until they extended it, but only for 1 month, not all 3. So more emails will ensue…

I don’t know if the customer service rep didn’t understand that there was a bug in the website or if there is no way internally to fix this problem. The poor guy I’m emailing might be pulling his hair out over this as much as I am. Either way, Globein needs to fix this.

I get that websites can take awhile to fix, and I have no idea how complicated their set up is between website and account info. That said, if their system is so unorganized that they can’t fix it within a couple of months or empower their employees to help, it does not say good things about the company.

I’m so unimpressed with the customer service and website that I am debating continuing my subscription. I’ve set my subscription not to renew and if this isn’t resolved by the end of my current subscription, which is several months away, I’ll probably leave for good. I do not want to deal with the headache of 3-4 emails a month any more.

Good luck to you. It certainly is frustrating to have to contact customer service repeatedly. And now that I hear others have this same issue, it’s even more frustrating that GlobeIn has yet to fix it. The logic on the programming side is pretty simple. They can simply do a box count. So, if you pay for a 3-month sub, then once 3 boxes are sent the sub expires and must be renewed at that point to receive more boxes. Get rid of the dates and just do a box count, then there are no issues. I wish they’d hire me to consult! LOL

Thank you! You’ve put into words what I’ve been feeling, and I am guessing a lot of others (in MSA, at least) feel that way too.

Hi there! I ended up asking them to send me both August boxes and then cancel my account which they are doing. I sent a message via Facebook and was responded to much quicker. Liza said that she would pass my suggestions along to their team. (I wrote almost exactly what I posted here) so hopefully they can get these website issues remedied. I love their mission and probably will subscribe again in the future but really don’t want the hassle of contacting customer service for things that should be obvious on their website. I think if they can make these changes it will serve them well and more importantly, us customers that want to help carry their mission forward.

One more thing to GlobeIn as a suggestion – if you’re reading these comments then please add a box in the pop up window for skipping that indicates what month you’re skipping. I accidentally skipped a month I didn’t intend to because of this and once again, had to contact customer service to correct it. I only knew what month I actually skipped from the email that gets sent. Thanks!
