If you send the offer to a “friend”, then they get the box for $29.99 and you get a $20 credit. So, creating a second account seems like a great deal.

This is tempting. Many of the items would make great gifts and I would love to get another spongelle and dr. brandt for myself. I know that $50 is still a very good deal. However, like other people suggested it would be great if loyal subscribers could buy one of the boxes at the special price too. Oh well…..

….I know that no business could provide introductory offers to all of their current customers. It obviously wouldn’t be financially viable, but it would be nice if more subscription companies had a few more incentives for loyal customers.

I’m not a big offense collector but I am irritated by this – thanks SO much for the “opportunity” to buy this box at $20 more than someone else.

I agree. I am ok with regular subscription boxes being at $49. But why not offer loyal subscribers a discount once in a while? They’d end up with fewer new accounts being set up and canceled and subscribers would appreciate it. Even $39 would stop some of that churn.

So you’re irritated that you’re able to buy the editor’s box at the normal price, like it always is when it’s available in add-ons? If you’re a subscriber, then you probably have all of this stuff already.

I’m irritated because they’ve clearly made the business decision to sell this product for $30 and they are offering it to people who have already been loyal to them for $50. Either they can afford to see it for $30 or not, but if they can, spare me the offer to buy it for $50. Whether I have everything or not isn’t the point (frankly, no one needs any sub box schlock, we buy because we like not need). I was going to get it for my sister in law so it’s moot anyway whether I have the stuff or not.

Exactly how I felt!

Liz, I got an email from FFF saying I could send 3 starter kits to friends. They just pay shipping and they contain 2-3 products to introduce you to FFF. Do you happen to know what items have been in the starter kits? Thanks so much! 🙂

Darla, if you go check out the forums on the FFF website, there are spoilers over there. I believe it has included a tote, a nude collection eyeshadow palette, a necklace, and marrakech oil. But it doesn’t seem that everyone gets all the same items.

Candice is right! Some people are only getting 2 items, for example. Still, for $2…

darla

Thank you!

Alex

Ooooh I’d love one. Unless you have your 3 friends selected already 🤗

I’ll send you one, I just need your email =)

The Playbook Eyeshadow looks really familiar– has it been in a previous box?

Version 1 was in the last editors box and Boxycharm also gave one of the three versions in a recent box (I, of course, got a duplicate #1…lol). This is Version 2.

I have 2 version 2’s if u want to trade

Jill

I got it in last months Boxycharm

It was in last month’s Boxycharm.

I wish we could get the same discount new subscribers get. I don’t have the energy to creat new accounts but loyalty should be rewarded.

It took me less than 5 minutes to create a new account in order to get the Editor’s Box for $30. Maybe less than 5 minutes. Cancelling will take about 30 seconds to do right on their site. Hardly an exhausting process.

I’m slightly annoyed by this. I get the lure the new people in with great deals and everything tactic. But full price for loyalty? Couldn’t they just give us loyal subscribers a little discount? And no, I’m not in the mood to make up fake emails and accounts.
I really like the way Popsugar gives codes everyone can use so I don’t feel ripped off.

Yeah, I agree with you both. I went to look and I guess I missed where Liz had said it was $49.99 in the store, no discount for current subscribers. That is annoying. I’m not wanting to do that either, I’m worried I’ll forget or be unable to cancel, and get charged again for the fall box on two accounts, lol.

I agree, some of these subscription boxes don’t really reward or incentivize loyalty, that well. I don’t get that. Especially with as cut throat at the subscription box market seems to be.

I would order the box if there was a way for them to guarantee that I wouldn’t get the same exact item that was in the summer box, I do not need another blue water bottle , or black and white ruana

Tracey

lol Liz, you enabler, you. 😛

That is very tempting. I might get it. I’d like a few of those items, for that price.
