The info card features an inspiring mantra, as well as a list of the products and their values.
Dreaming Yogi Meditation - Listed Value $10.00
In addition to the info card mantra, there's a "Summer Meditation" that you can find by visiting the website listed on this beachy card. Since this is an intangible item, it seems odd that it gets a value on the information card, but maybe it'll prove valuable once I start to use it. I will say that I'm so used to getting lots of paper ephemera with boxes that I almost disregarded this valued item as merely a promotional item or advertisement.
Blue Calcite Healing Stone - Listed Value $8.00
This crystal is huge! I'm used to getting little one or two-inch long crystals in subscription boxes, but this one is a bit bigger than a golf ball. According to the information card, this stone is calming and has healing powers that clear negative vibrations from the body. I can't wait to meditate on this gorgeous blue stone!
The Hippie Homesteader Energize Essential Oil Blend - Listed Value $16.00 (Found on Etsy for $10.00?)
I found similar essential oils on the Hippie Homesteader's site for $10.00, but the information card lists this at $16.00, just FYI. This scent is powered with rosemary, pine needle, and peppermint. It seemed earthier than I expected it to—the rosemary really comes through. It's a bit more of a subtle "energizing" aroma than I've experienced before (often they're really powerful, citrus or peppermint scented), which I like. The card suggests using this before a yoga class, which sounds perfect—something to inspire me to stay engaged, but not so energized that I can't stay mindful and peaceful.
Glowing Orchard Organics Raspberry & Black Cherry Lip Tint - Value $4.74 USD
The info card suggests that this lip balm was intended to be a "Strawberry & Rose Hip" scent, but I don't mind getting this fruity, cherry version. I love using natural products wherever possible, so this product is right up my alley. The formula didn't leave much of a tint on my lips, but it was moisturizing and smelled delicious. If you're looking for a natural, cruelty-free alternative to drug store fruity lip balms, this is a great pick.
Artisan Seashell Soaps - Listed Value $3.00
I'm not sure where they sourced these little soaps, so I just noted the listed value above. Apparently, they're handmade, which I can kind of tell based on the uneven edges. They are cute soaps though (they're only about 2 inches long each) and smell like a salty, floral seaside scene.
Verdict: This was my first experience with BuddhiBox Essential Oils, and I was happy with the quality of the items. I was most surprised and happy with the size of the crystal included in the box since it's way bigger than anything I've received up until this point. I will say that the value of the box is about double its cost, so it's definitely worth it. I wished that the soaps were a bit more "special", rather than just being random, unmarked items sitting in a burlap bag, but they were a cute concept, so I was alright with them.
