The July box theme was 'Out of Office' and aimed at giving you "grooming supplies from around the globe to help you disconnect and recharge".

As always, you'll get an information card with all of your items listed.

Cory Vines 2 Pairs of Socks in Black/Blue - Value $16

Each month, Birchbox Man allows you to select one lifestyle item for your upcoming box. This month, I went with the Cory Vines socks. Because, of course, I picked socks!

This is a 2-pack of low-cut socks, perfect for the summer heat we've been getting!

These are made with a very lightweight (almost dress sock material) and breathable material. They are very thin, but also might be the softest sock ever. I'm wearing the second pair today, and I have to see that I'm pleased - these felt nice during our walk yesterday.

Kiehl's Age Defender Moisturizer - Value $5.60 based on $40 full-size

Since I'm starting to find gray hairs I thought that this moisturizer was pretty timely.

This cream is made to moisturize and provide some anti-aging benefits. My face is currently super soft right now, so it definitely works well - plus, it has a very subtle scent, and that's my style.

Anthony Exfoliating & Cleansing Bar - Value $2.43 based on $17 full-size

Anthony's soap isn't anything new to me - but it something that I'm always happy to get. This particular bar has jojoba spheres, shea butter, and coconut oil to help with exfoliation. It also has a citrusy scent - so this is a good bar for those early mornings.

Marlowe No. 002 Men's Body Lotion - Value $.60 based on $9 full-size

This Marlowe body lotion is made with deep sea algae extract + 8 Amino Acids. It has definitely helped make my hands pretty silky smooth - and does absorb quickly - all without a definable scent.

EastWest Bottlers Bluegrass Cologne Sample

The final item in the box is a little cologne sampler. These are always the items that I am least excited for - and this month, the scent was absolutely way off of my radar of suitable scents for myself. This is a pass.

Verdict: Overall, I love my July Birchbox Man - there was only one product that I won't use. The lifestyle selection items are something that I always find pretty awesome because they end up mitigating a lot of the risk and covering a majority of the cost of the box. This month was no different in that respect - so it's a home run for me!

My husband really liked the Kiel’s moisturizer. It’s $43 plus shipping for a full size, but with a 15% off coupon code that made the shipping free and his Birchbox dollars it cam e down to $26.

How do you select the lifestyle item? I never remember to do it and how/where.

This looks like a nice box. I think the BB men’s is better than the women’s.

So the value is only $4 more than the cost of the box?? Even less because the cologne was a miss. Birchbox is really going downhill fast.
