NatureBox Membership Review + Coupon – June 2017

NatureBox has updated their subscription model. NatureBox is now a members-only snack buying service - the membership cost is $5 a month. That $5 will be credited towards your first snack purchase every month. You can cancel your membership at any time. You may buy as many snacks as you like each month - the $5 is simply for access to purchase the snacks. If you do not use the $5 in during the month, it will roll over to the new month.

If you were on a recurring subscription plan, those deliveries will continue - which also grants us a free membership to the new Club - so we can buy additional snacks. NatureBox is no longer open to new subscriptions, though, only to the new NatureBox Club membership.

Mini Crispy Snickerdoodles, 5 oz - Value $3.79 (member price $3.29)

Eeeeeek these are so delicious! Like they say on the package, these mini snickerdoodles are crispy, but they feel very light and airy. It's easy to throw a bunch of these back without blinking any eye. These small cookies pack a big cinnamony punch.

Big Island Pineapple, 4.5 oz - Value $5.99 (member price $3.99)

I heard that these were a hit at the MSA office, and I can see why. I enjoy indulging in copious amounts of dried mango (my go-to dried fruit snack), and these dried pineapple rings invoke the same type of joy. The only ingredient is dried pineapple. No added sugar, no preservatives. Simple.

Whole Wheat Raspberry Figgy Bars, 5 - 1.2 oz Bars - Value $4.49 (member price $3.49)

The fact that these are called "figgy bars" makes me smile. Doesn't it sound like something Tom Haverford would say? Fig bars are so delectable, and raspberry has to be my favorite fruit filling for things of this nature. I love that these are individually wrapped so that I can sneak them into the wave pool for a snack after being in the sun all day.

Sriracha Roasted Cashews, 4 oz - Value $5.99 (member price $3.99)

Oh, heck yes. If you're a fan of sriracha, raise your hand (for the record, mine is raised). These are PDS (pretty darn spicy), and I like it. Cashews rule because they are such a soft meaty nut, so being slathered in a sriracha glaze only makes them more snackable! It's good to know that you can get this in bulk on their site as well.

Sour Cream and Onion Straws, 3 oz - Value $3.29 (member price $2.99)

These are actually my least favorite of the gang. Though I can appreciate these aren't coated in weird chemical flavors like a big brand, the texture and flavor are a little wonky for me. They taste healthy if you know what I mean.

Verdict: I think Naturebox is a really good idea and makes some super tasty morsels. I'd love to try some of the other items they have, and with a membership, I can! I like that they put their emphasis on higher-quality foods with fewer ingredients to keep it simple. I loved four of the five things I sampled, so there is a high success rate there.
