Now, on to the items!

Brandon Blackwood The Blackout Bag Set – Value $168

This bag is an exclusive collaboration between Happy Rebel + Brandon Blackwood, and I am in love!

The shiny plastic outer material is perfect for a weekender/gym bag- no worry about getting it dirty.

It has plenty of inner pockets and outer zippered pockets, too. My favorite feature is the separate shoe compartment:

And inside there’s even a Happy Rebel label:

Here it is in hand to give you a better sense of scale:

All straps are made of vegan leather and the shoulder strap is removable.

The extra pouch is pretty roomy, too. (It’s perfect for your toiletries, etc.)

Maria Shireen Hair Tie Bracelet – Value $35

This gold bracelet has a matte, hammered finish. And the fun part is that it is designed to stylishly keep a hairband on your wrist!

Tip – take the two items apart before putting on your wrist!

Here it is on:

If you hate the feeling of a hairtie tight on your wrist, this is a pretty elegant solution!

Tolly Treatments COOL Aromatherapy Peppermint & Lemon Spray – Value $10

This is an all natural room, body, and linen spray. The scent is Peppermint + Lemon, but I really only smell the peppermint. But that is fine by me! It’s super refreshing and minty! Perfect for a gym bag, linen closet, etc.

MemoBottle – Value $28

This brand is new to me!

The memobottle™ is a premium slimline, reusable water bottle designed to fit stylishly into handbags, backpacks, laptop bags and even within your pocket; designed to fit where other bottles don’t. The shape of the memobottle™ closely resembles the dimensions of a sheet of paper (available in A5 and A6 size) and is made from a durable BPA-free and cradle-to-cradle certified plastic.

It comes with two different colored caps:

I love the look of this bottle – and it is so easy to hold. (I just wish it was dishwasher safe!)

Mavi Bandz Headband – Value $15

I have a few Mavi Bandz headbands thanks to subscription boxes and I LOVE them!

This headband is great for a few reasons:

  1. It has a non-slip lining.
  2. It has an adjustable band so you don’t have to worry about it being too tight/loose.

Most headbands are usually a little tight on me, so this is perfect!

Verdict: This box has a retail listed value of about $256. I’m loving the curation this season! Everything feels perfect for the Sporty + Chic theme, the items are all quality pieces, and the bag set is just stunning! (And everything is super useable even if you don’t go to the gym!)

  1. I am loving this box! I was hoping to just swap for the bag because I really don’t need the other stuff but I am looking on swaps and people want RV for RV or give 50 percent off and I understand it a expensive bag but you got the whole box for 100. That bag should not be more then 40 with shipping. Do they not know you can still buy the summer box on the website. I guess I will just have some bonus items or some gift items for family. Rant over!

  2. Love love love this box.

Also I bought a package of rainbow colored hair ties so I can put any color I want in the bracelet 🙂

  3. I absolutely love! I’ve been looking for a high end bag that fits my boxing gloves and I can take to my office without looking crazy (right now I use a canvas tote bad). It’s so cute and seems really well made. I use the shoe compartment for my sweaty hand wraps and the removable bag for post-workout makeup. I already bought a few more hair tie cuffs for friends and everyone loves them. Great job! All things I love but haven’t heard of the brands.

And while I may not use the water bottle in my bag, it’s not a bad idea. (I carry my laptop, cell and office docs in my bags, and I don’t like bottles that aren’t double walled (e.g. swell bottles) as the condensation can get complicated).

  4. I would rank Happy Rebel right up there with FFF and RZ Box of Style. I think the curation is cohesive and well thought out, and I agree that no item feels like filler. When I first saw the bag for the first spoiler, I had my doubts but reserved judgment until I received by box. It is much better in person, and would make an excellent gym bag or carry on. I’ve started using mine as a bag to carry everything to work, and I’ve already received compliments. I am looking forward to the Fall box!

  5. Good morning, ladies!

At this moment we have both the spring and summer boxes still available, so you can choose which box you would like to start your subscription with. You are welcome to choose what color bowl and/or bracelet you would like in the boxes (while supplies last). Just shoot us an email directly after ordering and let us know.

Sadly, the discount code in the post is expired as of May 31st. We currently do not have any active discount codes available, and do not plan on releasing any in the near future.

Feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any additional questions or would like to confirm current availability before joining us. We are happy to help 🙂

  6. If I order today will I get this box or the next one? I really love this box.

  7. I was slightly disappointed with the full spoilers, but once I got the box I was PSYCHED. I’ve wanted a hair-tie bracelet anyway, I love the coupling spray. I’ve been running around smelling like a peppermint patty in July, just take your glasses off before you use it. 🙂 the headband was shaping up to be my biggest disappointment because I’ve never met one that doesn’t slip off me…until now!!

The bag is my only hesitation. It looked so cheap in the pics, but it’s clearly a substantial well-made bag. I am not sure I have much use for it though.

  8. So… what are you supposed to do with the bracelet once you put the hair tie in your hair? One benefit about wearing one on your wrist is that once it’s in your hair you’re not wearing or carrying around anything any more… Cute idea but not practical in my case anyway…

    • You’re supposed to keep the bracelet on your wrist. It was designed so that it looks like a pretty accessory whether the tie is on or off the bracelet. I have one of these bracelets and I love it.

  9. If we sign up now, will this summer box be our first one? Or would it be fall?

  10. If I order today will this be my first box?? I really like it, I’m just a little uncertain since a previous comment said the coupon code isn’t working anymore!🙁

  11. Perfect carry on for the airplane, if it gets dirty under the seat, I can wipe it off! The little pouch can hold my make up or medicines, kleenex or the little water bottle even. The spray is approved size for travel too, and the bracelet…again, great travel item to keep a hair band handy. I love this box for my particular needs…the whole thing works for me! LOVE and loved the last Kitchen box too….swapped for another knife holder, and ordered another set of knives for a wedding gift after someone at my wedding brunch said they LOVED mine!

Another great value, and love the items again! This could be my new favorite box, Rachel Zoe and Fab Fit Fun watch out!

  12. I just tried to order with the MSA10 code and it says not active. Boo hoo.

    • I tried it too and it also says inactive. I really wanted to get this box!

  13. Love this box! I’ve tried to cancel in (ill-advised 😉 attempts to save money but this is the one subscription where I’ve loved everything for the last three boxes!!

  14. The bag reminds me of a Diaper Bag but I would totally carry the pouch

  15. This was my first Happy Rebel and I’m so so happy. Great curation and amazing value, not a single thing feels like “filler”. Can’t wait to see what Fall holds!

  16. I’d love to swap for the aromatherapy spray! My name links to my swap profile.

  17. Not having FOMO because the rest of the box isn’t in my taste, but I LOVE that hair-tie solution! I wear hair ties all the time, and they are always a smidge too snug on my wrist.

  18. Thrilled with this box! I just started working at a job with an on-site workout room, so the bag is perfect; polished but functional. Unfortunately the hair tie cuff is too small for my wrist; cuffs usually are. But I have a feeling it will be highly swappable. I’m intrigued by the flat water bottle and I’m keeping the spray in the fridge as we’re currently in the middle of an insane heat wave – even by summer in Arizona standards. IMO Happy Rebel is among the best of the boxes when it comes to really nailing the contents to match the theme.

    • This heat wave is crazy hot! It has put a slight damper on my hiking routine! My spray is in the fridge too! 😉 Love this entire curation!!!

  19. This was my first Happy Rebel box and I’m loving it. First, their customer service is excellent. I also love that they include a personalized welcome note in your first box. I love the bag…exactly what I needed for the gym. I also love the hair bracelet, but sadly, I’m allergic to metal, so I can’t use it 🙁 Going to have to search around the interwebs for a hard plastic version of this that I can wear. I like the slimline feel of the water bottle and think it’s a nice touch that it came with2 differ the colored caps. The spray is way too minty for me…the second I opened the package, it smelled like honey lemon Halls to me. The headband is great. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase 🙂

    • Hi Tami! Maria Shireen actually does offer some designs in plastic, so feel free to make use of your exclusive discount code and nab one in a material that will work better for you! Hope this helps 🙂

      • Ooh, I didn’t realize. Thanks so much!

      • Do we know the dimensions of the work out bag? I want to purchase the box if it will fit in my gym locker.

      • Hi Jody! Here are the dimensions: Width: 17.7″ Height: 9″ Depth: 9.8″ Handle drop: 6″

  20. Good curation! Cool stuff!

  21. Skipped this one, nothing’s really making me regret doing so. But interested in the comments.
